Liking it so far, but do you not know the difference between mixing and blending?

Mixing is when you have two homogenous groups that are not alike - like a bowl of blue skittles and a bowl of yellow skittles - and you put them into the same group. When you put the blue and yellow skittles in the same bowl, you don't get a bunch of green skittles. You get a mixture of blue and yellow skittles. That is mixture.

Blending is when you have a tube of blue paint and tube of yellow paint, and you blend them together so you get a mass of green paint.

Make sense?

As someone who doesn't know about gnosticism... So the demiurge was literally created by the words let out by the concept of 'wisdom' once it realized it couldn't comprehend chaos?

Not by the words exactly. I'd say by struggle and pain felt by Sophia (Wisdom) when she/it realized she/it couldn't comprehend Chaos.
>>

I was mostly referring to drawing the different archetypes here >>19127136 that he gave up on. They all have cool unique designs.

So the demiurge is what, a manifestation of the frustration about not understanding the unknown? Was it cast out because it carried negative vibes or something?
>>
>>19127443
probably i will, lemme just finish the main plot line
>>
>>19127452
Yes. Yes, kinda; if this entity would've stayed in the Pleroma, it would just create more and more frustration and misunderstanding between Aeons, and as a result -- whole existence would've been fucked up.

I read the story one time a little differently. The goddess Sophia lived in the center of the galaxy (the very bright area akin to the nucleus of a cell on a macroscopic level.) This is where the Aeons live and dream up entire realities and worlds before they send them down the spiral arms to become manifested. When Anthropos (humankind) was conceived in the mind of the Aeons, Sophia became fixated upon it and fell in love. She moved close to the edge of the Pleroma as she envisioned every infinite reality of the possibility of humans, enraptured by the idea of it.
She fell out of the pleroma, and down the spiral arm of the galaxy, and as she fell she became hopelessly lost in uncontrolled chaotic manifestation and dreaming. The first thing she accidentally gave birth to was the Demiurge.
Eventually her falling ceased and her body became the planet Earth.
Mankind was originally meant to be a perfect and sinless creation, but now that chaos had entered the blueprint they basically put the whole solar system in quarantine.
The demiurge awoke in his miniature universe of the Solar system and could not see or move beyond it. In his arrogance he believed that he was God of all creation and tried to mimic the life he saw sprouting effortlessly from the sleeping body of Sophia.
He created all the other planets in the Solar system. They were beautiful, but dead and would not bring forth life.
So he went to Earth and eventually became known as the cock hole of the Old Testament named YHWH (Some stories differ on wether some things attributed to YHWH in the bible was really the Demiurge, or if he is just Satan)

I fell into nothingness and with the wisdom of sophia I created matter by bunching a bunch of stuff together like play-dough. I really did nothing wrong, Is the earth really that bad guys? I mean really it's fucking beautiful here and you think this is like the lower levels of hell.

Gnosticism is cool. Just not really into teachings based on interpretation. This one is based on interpretations of the Torah and the Bible, respectively. Organized religion, meh. Other people's interpretations, even worse. Usually rife with corruption.
>>
>>19127896
These are interpretations of Jewish and Christian texts with stuff from other religions(and cultures) thrown in. I don't know, honestly. Only argument is whether or not it was founded by Christians or Jews.
>>
>>19127133
these are good
>>
>>19127896
Literally every teaching on every subject, including all but the most basic math, is based upon interpretation. That's pretty much how teaching/learning works. Even using the Socratic method, the interpretations of the student AND the teacher are going to come into play

Hey guys, it's the logophile from >>19127163. Glad to see this still up, I hope some gnostics are saving the pics. I say logophile because I am not a gnostic and not certain if the word meanings and etymology are actually useful, but I enjoy posting about it anyway. For instance...

>>19128342
>Wtf is man?
>>19128733
Men its his own church of truth?

The word used for the archon is anthropos. This word is often translated as man, but I agree with the scholars that believe it to be gender-neutral, thus meaning "person." Does this mean an actual person? I think no, in that it is contrasted with Ekklesia, which I will get into in the next paragraph. With all this, I am guessing Anthropos is the ESSENCE of personhood. It is, in a sense, individuality.

The reason I say this is because Ekklesia CAN be translated as church, but probably shouldn't since the word church has twisted its meaning over the years. Ekklesia's original meaning is something along the lines of "a called-out assembly, a congregation." (This is also where the idea for words such as catholic and church came to be.) The Greek assembly for lawmaking in Athens was called the Ekklesia. When you contrast Anthropos and Ekklesia, I feel the dichotomy (and reason they appear at the same time) becomes apparent.

>Anthropos
>Ekklesia

>Individuality
>Union/Togetherness

Note that Ekklesia is NOT like the Oneness of Brahman. It specifically requires multiple people working together; an assembly.
>>
>>19129044
god what are you some kinda atheist faggot? one of those "religion is for the weak minded" kind of dicks? I'm agnostic but quit being a little bitch. It's philosophy and if people find it interesting, that's no business of yours. And even if it were, why not present a coherent argument against the philosophy presented instead of screwing around? You only make yourself look ignorant.
>>
>>19127133
This is very well done.
>>
>>19129205
Hrmm, looking back at the second pic, I think my understanding is off. It seems there is an archon for Union as well as Ekklesia. I wonder what the difference is.

From the pic here >>19127491 I see the Greek word was Henosis. That word DOES seem to carry the connotation of Oneness; of uniting with the Monad. Not certain if the Monad concept fits in Gnosticism, though.

If that's the case, I think what I said earlier still holds.

We have personhood - anthropos
We have community - ekklesia
And we have unity with the Monad (hopefully a gnostic can explain and expand on this?) - henosis
>>
Lol Gnosticism is a joke. Keep making these pls

>Not certain if the Monad concept fits in Gnosticism, though.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monad_(Gnosticism)

Valentinius only describes one of several versions of the Gnostic creation story. The Monad fits into other versions, usually as the font from which Chaos and Silence sprung.

Don't worry, Demiurge Prabhu. We Vaishnavas know you are getting a bad rap. Everyone wants to think you are rebelling and trapping us here. The reality is you're offering a place of independence - whether good for us or not - and you're just doing your job when you test to see if we REALLY want to get out of here.

Gnostics want to say you're against the Pleroma. To a Vaishnava, whether closer to Brahma or Maya, we know you are the truest servant of God. Still, I hope you won't feel bad that I'm desperately trying to escape your influence.

Also bump for OP, these are nice and mildly informative.

So the pleroma is just the fucking sun.
The demiurge is just the biological portion of the sun that begot animal and man.

Archons are just psychic wastes of gods left over or worshiped from times past. Perhaps angels and demons to.

Christ is Sol, or sent of the Sun, or Pleroma.
The demiurge still operates but humanity has created a demiurge of it's own, the technological internet demiurge, apart from but still related to the old demiurge.
>>
>>19131219

This ENTIRE website is evidence of the human demiurge. There needs to be a seperation. Animal demiurge =/= Human demiurge

Although they share some qualities, since we cannot escape that we are still beasts. People have this idea that you're either 9's or 6's either "divine" or "beastial" you can't escape being human no matter how enlightened you think you are, you'll always be an animal.

But really, there is very obvious duality in my statement, are you at all made uncomfortable in your matter, that other bits of the spark constructed together within matter are just as far along as you with their studies?

This one does. Do you know what kind of implications this has for the conscious observers?

Also, how much does Bruno Borges scare you?
