In third grade I was waiting for my math tutor to pull me out of class, and I remember the weirdest moment of my life.

As I sat there, I remember blinking, and all the light and colors went batshit, like in Dredd an the junkies were on the drug. I looked at my hands, thinking "Im alive. I'm a person, alive and able to make or break things."

I remember sitting there dazed, half high and completely aware of *everything and everyone* around me. I could feel the shockwaves of sound before they happened, the light was extra bright and like I was viewing things through a prism.

It was awakening, of "Self" and the awareness of being. Being alive, being present, of being part of the cosmos.
