Karma and pain

as if you would even remember enough to have that tolerance. and there are greater pains that go on after death but before new life.

Do you want to know the sad truth?

You don't get another life. This is it. The forces that be thought it would be a good idea to put the universe in a loop. When this life ends, you remain dormant for millions of years and your memory gets erased, and you become reborn in the same life.

During all the empty space of the loop, there are a handful of entities, demons, gods, beings, that take advantage of the loop and live a million good lives in between each loop. They have sex, do drugs, party, create their own galaxies, fly through space, and do all sorts of cool stuff. God thought this would be a good idea and died, hoping it would never be broken. He committed the biggest crime against humanity when he didn't allow normal people to cross over to the spiritual plane so they could enjoy life as it is over there.

Are these pains purely therapeutic then? It wouldn't make sense to punish an entity that doesn't remember much.

If you can count em then it's not the exact same life, you'll eventually get out of it.

There is a difference between pain and suffering. There are many painless ways to suffer. If a person has reached a point where they are no longer suffering, then you are correct that negative karma has no effect on them.

But then to reach a state where suffering or negative karma no longer affects you - most would call that transcendence.
