Unfortunately, that's not the definition of a cure. And all the bad decisions a person can make while impaired (and usually at least a little delusional) will compound the problem when you run out of the drug. Not to mention the nightmares ood physical AND psychological withdrawal.

If by TREAT you mean make you less aware of a problem while it gets worse, then yes. Well, except the weed, that makes the situation seem better, while it doesn't really change, then over the years the weed works less, unless you can actually improve the underlying problems.
