I feel like I'm very alone in this conviction... but does anyone else practice Thelemic magick or otherwise follow Thelemic philosophy or Crowley's ideas but doesn't buy into the supernatural shit?
I mean, for me, the LBRP and Resh are basically theatric meditations. I don't believe in spirits or gods, angels, demons, or astral travel or an afterlife.
I can't be the only one who feels this way.

how does one join the A.A.? I've tried to contact an "outer college" with no success.
Would the OTO also be appropriate?
There's nothing wrong with that.
Thelema is "high magick" anyhow.
>high magick: "spells" you cast on yourself to improve yourself
>low magick: "spells" to effect the external world
So with that sort of philosophy in mind, it literally doesn't matter if supernatural forces exist or not. If you're benefiting from the practice, more power to ya.

I personally wouldn't recommend joining any organizations. Be a seeker on your own and not pay any dues or have to deal with the drama. There is a skeptical and science minded part of the occult and we know the importance of so called "pyschodramas" and "theatrics" in ritual. The Grand Infinity on youtube might be up your alley. His livestreams are great.

I feel the same way. I guess after studying Zen Buddhism, and liking many of its ideas, I still felt that Buddhism in general was to restrictive and anti-life in its philosophy, so I gravitated toward Thelema, which I find more Nietzschean and life-affirming, as well as libertarian in a rough sense
