not to mention the fact that crucial elements to the story are spread across so many different social media accounts, including some videos from an account not even active anymore, although i think in that particular instance it was more supplementary. and it's not even like if you just watch all of it or read all of it you'll get what happens, no, there's so much damn subtext and shit that you can miss so easily if you're not like taking notes and paying really fucking close attention. and then of course if you don't know shit about house of leaves or the everyman play you're also missing out on crucial information. it's way too much for what's normally a pretty simple medium.
