What's a Tulpa?
>>19092668
Noobs, I have one since 2004
It isn't such a big deal if you logically build it.
>>19093026
In the context of "The Monad" how does having a "tulpa" differing from being aware of the bi-hemispheric anatomy of the human brain, having a soul, thoughtforms which extend beyond your cerebral anatomy, gods-archtypes and GOD?

Was Socrate's demon a tulpa?
>>19093071
It wasn't according to him..... but then how can you tell the difference between your thoughts and some invisible ghost/spirit/alien angel who takes a liking to you and whispers into your mind on occasion? How do you differentiate?
>Obviously if the whisper tells you/shows you something that you shouldn't be able to know/do "logically" then the materialist argument that's it's just your brain talking to itself is wrong.. on some level.
>>19093111
.....but then, if Scientists are wrong about magic, then that opens the doors to all sorts of interesting possibilities doesn't it?
>Isis was one of Egypt’s Mightiest Magicians from the beginning. One Egyptian story told how a particular magical scroll—which the tale calls a “mystery of the Goddess Isis”—was discovered when a moonbeam fell upon its hiding place, enabling a lector priest in Isis’ temple to find it.

There are two beliefs of Tulpas. One is that they are physical/ spiritual entities manifested by thought. The other (the actual one) is a psychological effect of creating a separate, independent thinking being that resides in your own head that you can see and talk to.

Socretes thought a spirit spoke to him. One of the most brilliant minds in human history; and your opinion is simply that he couldn't tell the difference between his own mind and another?
Consider the following:
There is an interesting story about Napoleon on his visit to the Great Pyramid. He asked to be left alone in the King’s chamber. When he emerged, it was reported that he looked visibly shaken. When an aide asked him if he had witnessed anything mysterious, he replied that he had no comment, and that he never wanted the incident mentioned again. Years later, when he was on his deathbed, a close friend asked him what really happened in the King’s chamber. He was about to tell him and stopped. Then he shook his head and said, ‘No, what’s the use. You’d never believe me.

People hallucinating doesn't prove tulpas exist. No one can distinguish between their own mind and another. The brain can trick itself. Even Socretes would not be immune to that.
>>19092668
I don't want to have to race against the clock to Egypt and do battle with my bloodline's age-old enemy, though. That shit's expensive.
>>19093244
There's very little that can be proven as 100 percent truth, so being stuck on one idea is a very narrow perspective of the universe and life.
>>19093244
The brilliance of Socrates or Napolean doesn't protect them from just being flat out wrong or incapable of making mistakes. Saying otherwise is just an argument from authority.
Tulpas are for bi-sexual and transgenders who don't want too admit they are. At least from what I've observed in the Tulpa communities with their "possession" and "switching" even having relationships (through the "hosts") mind you, with other tulpa's its getting pretty gay honestly.
Plus most of the Tulpa advocates say it's completely 100% safe and has nothing to do with spirituality or meta-physical at all. I think that's kinda fucked up too, telling people oh ya it's almost completely safe to create a new person in your mind and have conversations with them telling you things from their own consciousness which isn't just your own anymore. I'm starting to have a suspicion there is actually something demonic about this movement. (possession) I mean come on they even call it (possession) and talk like it's "no big deal at all". Ya giving control of your body to an alien entity is a fucking big deal, whether you believe that you created it and it's all a product of your "brain" or not.
>>19093111
If a being is communicating directly into your mind in some way (telepathy or what have you), you feel their energy coming through, or even their presence as well. Whereas a tulpa will always be associated with your own energy as it originated from your mind.
>>19093292
>2017
>not being be able to distinguish between your own mind and another's.
>>19093418
Because Tulpa advocates are fucking retarded. These are the people that disregard every bit of literature that says "This shit's bad, yo" and go "Nah they just didn't it right, it's completely safe guys!"
Like shit, when the Monks that invented the practice tell you it's dangerous and a bad idea, some autistic kid that browses too much /mlp/ and /x/ are not gonna do it right.

>>19093035
I guess that means you havent had a real girlfriend since 2004. You are quite the winner
as someone who had a tulpa, they are definitely real, but total bullshit. you dont want some chatty fuck talking all the time in there. seriously. It gets old so fucking quick and after so much effort to get there, you want to turn that ship straight fucking back the way you came. Its not fun, its not hard, its not cool, its just annoying man.
but go ahead and power think yourself crazy if you want to, idgaf
>>19093292
>When you write down and explain one of the deepest philosophies in history and give the due credit to your great teacher and mentor, and the muse/spirit who loved him, but posterity insists that it was just his crazy brain trying to trick itself.....

What does this sentence even mean "No one can distinguish between their own mind and another" what absolute trash wording that is. It's like saying none can tell the difference between the sun and the moon because they are both in the sky.
>>19093474
I totally believe you, because you said so on the internet and everything!
>>19093501
When I mean another mind I mean in their own head. Obviously you can tell another person from yourself. People in this thread saying Socrates knew he spoke to an outside force are talking out their asses. How can you tell the difference between a voice in your head and a "spirit" communicating with you?
>>19093443
Nah, I've had two.
Having a tulpa doesn't mean losing touch with reality... to a point, of course.
>>19093026
It's sort of like an imaginary friend but with more bells and whistles. Tulpas are basically sentient beings that we're able to create and share our minds with, like a split personality only more ballin.
>>19092668

An esoteric discipline getting a bad name... because of bad decisions. People using the quintessence of nothingness as the manifestation of creation itself and the catalyst to reach and manifest in the metaphysical foundations of higher existence is used by lonely sexual frustrated men to create/contact beings who's existence revolves around sexual deviancy and enslavement and are, for some reason, surprised and shocked that they become one with the very things they created and are on the receiving end of them.
One would think that they would use this discipline for their own elevation and enlightenment.... but then you remember how many people die every day because they decided to ignore the warnings about drugs/cigarettes/drunk driving every day.
>They take what was meant for good; and twist it for evil. "How do I summon a succubus".

The Mind Body is about the only thing safe
In tulpa school, it allows one to stand in more places with less Molestation, like a bug zapper....
Everything else is a big iiffyy
Long story very short I really don't know much about the occult or any of this shit other then I've been flirting with it for years and have gotten to this point because I have a pretty good intuition. Now first I didn't word that correctly I didn't fuck Lilith I started masturbateing to pictures of her and to sum it up everything explained in the pic has happened with the exception of wanting to kill myself. I've had strong intense feelings of love from her it washes over me at moments I read that with succubuses that you start to have very dark taboo wet dreams well two nights ago I had a wet dream for the first since I was like fucking 14. I also had a dream that i can't really remember but I think it was like a women in the woods biting into an apple. All I want to do is get rid of her and for her to stop tempting me. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated

Can you accidentally create a tulpa, asking for a friend?
so tulpas arent actually supernatural, are they? theyre a mental issue suffered mostly by lonely neckbeards?
