I think its just brutal. Soldiers right now do not think of death when they fire their weapons. If they kill someone, they'd be happy that it was not them. But think about what that soldier killed. A guy who grew up with happy friends and families now fighting in a confuse war. He's probably planning to quit fighting but one piece of metal literally left his body and internal organs lifeless and workless. Every memory, everything that he saw, experience, felt, thought just disappeared. Just like that. Yea sure, you might be happy right now sitting on your computer and scrolling to someshit but what if you die seconds after reading some stuff or what if you die tomorrow. Would someone actually care? Or would they care because its the right thing to do.
