It's so blatantly a Ito rip off done in a western fashion. Same monster design, same facial expressions, same general "horror" philosophy, same twists and concepts. Only difference is there's more titty and less detailed art.

These would make a great compilation book for young teens. They are drawn well and short enough to hold attention but sadly most of them have the same "twist" ending and few are just boring

I love them. Sure, they wear their influences pretty clearly on their sleeve, but Ito wore Lovecraft like a three piece suit and no one complained. I actually like these better than Fuan no Tane personally because there's less of a culture gap. They're like hypercondensed versions of the HBO Tales From the Crypt in terms of the setup ~> punchline approach to horror. Good for this artist, I applaud their effort.

it's alright, my brainlet pal, ill let you in. the girl in the 4th panel snickering is the dog's owner, encouraging his violent behavior. the girl constantly getting spooked by said dog realizes that it isnt entirely the dog's fault so she goes to kill the dog's master but the panels leading up to the end indicate she's going to kill the dog (the pet capture noose and protective gear) but the twist is that she kills the owner, not the doge. got it?
