I saw a meteor at midnight. Not one of those little scratch-in-the-sky things you can barely see. A full on fireball. Brilliant blue and green. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and it only lasted a second.

Aside from that it was my typical day of work drudgery but I felt oddly optimistic.
