I saw a few that looked like, "cacodemons" from the game, "DOOM" by company, "ID Software".

Some levitated. Some just lay on the ground. They didn't have the technology or biology to levitate themselves.

One time one of the, "cacodemons" ate my arm when I put my arm inside the, "cacodemons" mouth.

I met some very strange ones last night. Sort of strange shaped heads, more like a tetrahedral rather than round structure. I think my mind was having a lot of trouble figuring out what they actually looked like. There was a lot of silverish colored energy. It was an inter dimensional exchange with a higher density. I told them that I had encountered ets before, but not them. I asked what sort of beings they were, The one with the strange head said harmony. Then another more humanoid looking one appeared, she said that they had heard of me, but this was the first time we were meeting. She was tall, she reached her arms down my sides and gave me a very warm nice feeling hug. Then I woke up.

I remember when I was a kid watching a documentary about abductions and sightings. One women said she was in a hotel and got the feeling something was in the room. She looked at the end of her bed and saw a creature short like the one second to right in ops pic. She threw a pillow at it and it ran. That night ufos and lights had been spotted outside that hotel. Another one remember involving the short alien was a man claiming to have been abducted and a grey alien apparently was communicating with a small hairy alien like it was a helper. Strange I always took greys as bionic androids interdementional beings or demons, I always believed they where the "helpers" to other superior beings strange to thing they themselves may have these things helping them.

There is a novel called Solaris you should read, it's about humans making contact with a truely alien intelligence which is incomprehensible to them. The author wrote the book because most aliens in SciFi are reflections of humanity, many of them fulfilling ethnic or racial or cultural stereotypes found in humanity but distilled into a specific alien species.

Not as improbable as once thought. If we make the assumption that evolution would work the same way with life elsewhere (which is not a guarantee especially if the building blocks are completely different), then it's not odd that life would evolve in similar fashion to us. If intelligent life like humans are especially rare, then it's possible that our evolutionary timeline is one of the few possible ways to gain intelligence, thus it ups the likelihood that there are other humanoids out there in the universe.

There are a quite a few assumptions in that statement, I'll admit, but we are talking hypothetically. Point is though we don't really know because we only have Earth's life to compare.

Unfortunately it's an anticlimactic ending. Bob got where he was going fine, with no other problems. My dad knows the story, but I don't think he believes it. But Bob tells it to everyone he meets, so he obviously does. He's absolutely adamant about the guy being an alien. Years later I heard about the Thatcher Effect and nearly had a fucking heart attack when I saw it. I showed one of the pictures to Bob and he wouldn't even look at it. He says it's exactly what the guy looked like.

The aliens in Peter Watts's Blindsight stories are strange. They're technologically advanced, but never developed a sense of self. They don't seem to even register us as here at first, as we're beneath their notice.
They're like giant viruses bounding about the galaxy. They can't be communicated with, yet they have more tech in a few cells than humanity has developed.
Say what you will about the book, but the posthumans and aliens were interesting.
