Does anyone feel like that since a year ago there has been a HUGE push to make cannibalism look "normal"?

Honestly it's all over TV (Izombie and Santa Clarita Diet are 2 different TV shows featuring a female character eating other people), Movies (Miss Peregrine and Peculiar Children and The Neon Demon, they both feature a group of powerful people, models and "mutants" eating people, eyes specifically and getting powers from this), and now in music we are getting this trend too.
>>
>>19045171
What are you saying? That the elites are actually cannibal humans and not reptiles like we previously thought?
>>
>>19045176
No, that probably they want to make normal a savage and unnatural behaviour..
>>
>>19045171
There was also that CNN reporter who tried eating human too.

There is clearly some orchestrated agenda here
>>
Its the same reason there has been such a push to normalize pedophilia. These sorts of crimes are starting to bubble up to the surface. They're trying to prep the public to be ok with it by the time the lid is blown off the whole thing
>>
>>19045196
This explanation is actually pretty reassuring. I hope it's true, because it seems the timeline of the lid being blown off is happening far sooner than normalization.

bit ot but god damn they were really getting to gaga a few years ago

He didn't "try". He was tricked by an Aghori, who are a bunch of schizophrenic Shavis who eat the charred remains of people cremated near the Ganges.

Cannibalism is already "normal" in other parts of the world.
>>
Did you miss the part where this behavior is portrayed as deviant and evil, not "normal"? Or is this more of the bluepilled mindset that gave us "D&D has demons as bad guys, so clearly it's a scheme by the Satanists to turn children into mass-murdering homo-rapists!"?
>>
>>19045348
I think what he meant was they're making the characters more sympathetic and likable to the point that you overlook there taboo and see them as "normal"

The blood of the young sustains the old and sickly. There's no doubt the elite have been doing this for millenia. There have been blood rituals for the "gods" since the dawn of man, commonly that of young virgins. Not to mention throughout history, one of the most prevalent human fears have been that the elite/witches/etc will come and take their children. That is, until recently when such ideas have become ridiculous in the average person's perception for "some reason."

>>19045360
That only (MAYBE) applies to the Santa Clarita diet. In IZombie the character struggles with their cannibalistic urges, making them no more a tool for "normalizing" cannibalism than Angel was in the 90's. In The Neon Demon, the cannibals are portrayed as an evil, psychotic cult who are to a woman five miles beyond the sanity even horizon and accelerating (one of them disembowels herself in a car while the other consumes her vomit), and in Miss Peregrine, the eyeball-eaters are literally soulless demonic entities.

But yeah, these characters are definitely supposed to make cannibalism look like the hip, normal new thing! DEFINITELY.

In that regard, I see your point. but what I'm thinking is that there seems to be a push to desensitize us to these acts and add a degree of understanding with the people that commit them. There's more than just what this guy posted. Take "Devil's Rejects" for example or "He Never Died". There seems to be an attempt to create a level of empathy or justification with the cannibal/murderer and their crimes
>>
>>19045337
Which to me is a ridiculous truth. There are still communities like >>19045194
out there - isolated and secluded from the world. Who knows what shit they hide from us.
>>
>>19045454
>there seems to be a push to desensitize us to these acts
that's a meaning that you're ascribing to it. doesn't mean that's the reason.

not saying it isn't, either. but to me it just seems that as time goes on, old themes and plot devices get tired and overused. not that writers don't still use them, but some prefer to try to cover less-trodden ground. horror is supposed to shock. once people aren't shocked by "oh shit a monster/killer/cannibal" anymore, seems to me that one of the next logical steps to keep it edgy is to show the inside of the monster's/killer's/cannibal's mind. this is what makes movies like silence of the lambs so creepy and why biographies of serial killers remain a perennial favourite.

you might as well ask whether the whole steampunk thing was a ploy to get us used to the idea of cobbled-together victorian technology in case some country's government unleashes some kind of energy weapon that wipes out all electronics and leaves us technologically back in the early 20th century. maaaaybe?? but idk man.
>>
youre all fags.

its gotten big because its sensually riveting. remember when the new genre of gory horror movies were all the rage? people being torn to shreds or tortured? that became the norm, and then we stepped into horror that involves rape - which taps further into psychology rather than just the tearing of flesh.

and now, what's worse than the psychological consumation of an individual? physical consumation of an individual is the new horror, the new sensual, pornography. doesnt your blood ever boil in intrigue and excitement when you find out that the antagonists eat people? its taboo, its almost sexually appetizing.

They can't hide anything because they're all busy dying of Kuru.

>>19045171
do you listen to KJ too? I wish he addressed the ending of the katy perry music video when she and the chefs turn the tables and eat the rich. he just goes straight for the christian take and doesn't seem to know much about mkultra.

I love zombie movies and games but never felt like eating a human nor did I ever think they were intended to push a flesh eating agenda. You guys are fucked in the head, discuss real conspiracies not this made up shit

Spirit Cooking & Spirit Eating.

You guys are fucking retarded. Once someone introduces something into the media, like murder in film for example, everyone wants to oneup it. So you get a snowball of things just getting more and more ridiculous. This is what you're seeing, there's no fucking ulterier motive. It's just people trying to make money off of bored consumers who have already "seen it all."
>>
>>19045337
I'm sure this is just some spiritual ritual for the dead where they consume their loved ones.

I don't think eating humans is immoral unless you killed the person for the sake of eating him. If the person died of causes outside of your hands then why would it matter? I'm talking from a perspective that doesn't have abundance and where starvation is rampant.
>>
>>19045171
It's called being hip and edgy you stupid fuck.
>>
>>19045171

I think, since the leaks of spirit cooking and pics of elite eating from bodies, they are trying to normalize that shit

It's clearly pushing the envelope beyond "edgy & hip". As "traditional values" continue to fade, moral boundaries will continue to be pushed, crossed, and broken. Things we consider unconscionable today, will be common place in 20yrs. Maybe sooner.
>>
Why is it allowed on television is the better question.

It's allowed because we are being prepared for the future. With the massive technological unemployment looming, the elite will have to do ~something~ with all of the redundant human beings.
As Monty Python said, "feed the homeless to the hungry."
