People who think they are Astral Projecting are simply Lucid Dreaming. People can't Astral Project. It's not possible.

I haven't experienced Astral Projecting for myself so I can't say for certain but there are people who swear they have found/heard things while in AP that were later verified as being the truth.

How are there separate methods for each if they are the same thing? People can "Astral Project" every night if they are experienced enough but lucid dreaming is an entirely different experience

1) there is no "soul". at least not some mysterious life force that wills you to be alive.

2) astral projection occurs in waking state as well as dream state

3) it is possible. it might not be how you understand it, but it is very possible, especially with the aid of nmda antagonists.

i think that the misunderstanding comes from the fact that people believe what they are seeing is the physical world, which it isn't. there is no vision apart from what your eyes provide you. obviously, you can still visualize your surroundings, though.

I have never experienced Astral Projection but what I have gathered from this thread so far is that the people who are denying AP seem incredibly envious and butt hurt.
