look at the light bouncing off it, there would be more detail for light to bounce off and the light would not be so even. Also look at the low resolution texture mapping on the part just before the bone sticking out. money is on the CGI.
also if it was real where are the sharks? a big dead thing in tropical water would be riddled with sharks eating it.
