Around 2011, there was a series of kidnappings in small towns. Often they were near large forests, but there were also reports in metropolitan areas on occasion. The crimes also included strange forms of vandalizing private and public property. All of them would be reported as being done overnight, quietly committing the crime in peoples homes. Somehow, they would alter the room they went into, nailing furniture to the ceilings, scribbling out photographs, and "correcting" anything containing text.

All of the kidnappings were thought to be connected to the same cult due to the recurring habit of leaving the head of a horned animal hanging from a rope. The victim's family's reported later on that worms and other parasites had been a frequent medical problem.Their food would rot in the span of two days, causing insect infestations. If the youngest child was not kidnapped by chance, they would often have convulsive seizures, and talk about animal headed "Kings" with horns and wings, often covered with countless eyes.

Overtime, those related to the victims would receive things whether through the mail or in random places within their house. In extreme cases, body parts of animals and humans would be left under the sheets of the bed, often very warm and fresh. Usually however, they would receive religious texts, cryptic symbols, and directions to abandoned areas to find documents from the collective..
