I asked him if it was buried or half- in the ground or something and he said no. I dont know what part of the yard because i got here late- their dad was watching them- i was moving the last amount of things out of my old house.
The lines on it... Well some go arpund, some dont- i dont know what to think about that, honestly, or what that could be from- but they're cuts- not lines-and seemingly symmetrical. I'll take a better pic of that.

probably a bone from an animal like a cow or a pig. The lines are probably from a processing plant, where super sharp saws cut the meat off or some shit. They're programmed to slice the bone a bit to make sure all of the meat comes off.

I hope not- but the house is not scary at all. Its pleasnt and no bad feelings or vibes at all. Im hoping its just animal bones- but it worried me cuz its kinda big.
So much so that when he brought it to me i did that line from the burbs " this is Walter!" and my kid laughed his head off- but i also did it cause he was worried and hes 10 and i didnt want him freaking out so i thought if i made a joke- he wouldnt worry- cause i didnt take it serious in front of him. It looks like a processed cattle bone for large dogs to chew on. I've seen bones that size or bigger at the pet store.

Was cut with a saw and it looks big to be human. Probably a cow bone for a dog.

I'm somewhow convinced this is a troll thread but I'll bite and pretend it's real for fun and if it is bogus I'll just say I was joking.

That looks like the proximal epiphysis of some kind of femur, can't tell which animal without my comparative osteology book. - but no, it's not human.

It's like I can clearly see the shape of the head of the femur, well more like the neck, and a trocanther. The head looks chewed by an animal and the cut marks can be from a butchers machine, maybe the one that cut that part of the bone off.

But it is impossible to be sure from photos, it could be fat stick of ginger too as far as I know and you are joking with my face. Still, allways glad to play along on the bone ride.

...Yeah, it's likely a young (non adult) cow and that explains the shape of the head of the femur and size - the epiphysis hasn't fused yet.
