It's a toss up between Hinduism and Jainism. Hinduism is a lot more `funky` though as most of the backstory around Jainism is a little more dry so to speak. Jainism may conceivably predate Hinduism however that is speculation that can probably never be proven. Both have their origins in prehistory though. In general then India certainly has the most authentic `transmission systems ` eg. techniques for achieving God Realisation. The real hardcore dudes, eg for example. the `Himalayan Baba's ` and whatnot would probably laugh at you if you tried to pin the label `Hindu ` on them as they are just using techniques which they have been developing and learning over many lifetimes.
