Friend, that's doing it wrong. True shamanism is about connecting and learning directly from existence itself, not reading or other people. That's like trying to learn how to swim by watching youtube videos. I'll be frank with you, not everybody is cut out for it, and you don't seem that type. That being said, if you really want to give it a crack, grab some drums, take some mescaline, and head out to the woods.

If you asked for my opinion, I would tell you that grabbing drums, finding a licensed Native American to share mescaline with you, and surviving among the wild animals that live in the woods is one of the most difficult paths a person can walk on this world, at least based on my own experience.

But I would also say it's an extremely rewarding one.
