Demons? No. What popular people call demons are actually ancient mistranslations of beings that were "Rejected Gods". They are all cut from same divine cloth.
Don't bring in the Bible. That book is a laughable effort of collecting, plagiarizing and censoring the older middle-eastern history. Half of the things that later European called "demonic" aren't even supernatural. They are purely political and theological rubbish.

Coming back to ancient beliefs - Middle-Eastern Culture never had anything dark, that is the antithesis of Gods. A God could be benevolent or malevolent - that is it.

This doesn't mean that there aren't beings that invade the reality from beyond. They are not part of this creation. By that definition alone, they are not merely Biblical demons. There are 4 classes of such beings:-
1. Pretenders are the shade of energy that replaces the place of a tragedy - basically what people call "haunting" isn't actually the soul of the dead wandering forever - only the human memory stuck in time is being replicated (hence the repeating haunting). Human spark - the soul departs (whether to space, hell or heaven isn't clear). These beings are not powerful and large psychic energies (prayer, ritual, magic, exorcism) can negate their effects. Traditional ghosts, wandering women ghosts, murdered ghosts, etc comes under this category.
2. Binders are what people calls - pet ghosts/demons. People believe they summon a demon but in actuality, these are second tier beings that pervade reality.
3. Overlords - can also be bound but require heavier payments of equal exchange. Forget Hollywood movies and animes. They aren't summoned by LARPing, chants and magic circles. No. They require blood. Human blood. Lots of it.
4. Unseen Ones. We have an unbroken oral tradition. A long time ago, someone had tried to contact them. It ended the world, destroyed the first moon and returned this world to a formless state, covered with water.

Black Magic?
Magic is Magic. There is no black or white magic. It is a power that dances according to the tune of the player. It is the human heart that decides the nature of manifestation.
However, the malevolent form (Black magic for normies) of magic is easier to practice but take a larger toll if backfired.
The Benevolent form requires ascetic exile for as many years as much "talent" you wish to gather. They are always one tier above the malevolent form (that is, you also learn the malevolent form of magic and learn +1 to counter it).
The malevolent form has blood sacrifices VS Benevolent form requires complete abstinence from one habitual desire - it can range from Tobacco, Non-Veg diet, Alcohol, Sex, etc. If even by mistake a benevolent form practitioner consumes the abstained material, he will instantly die (thus one must never reveal their one abstinence).
The Older form of this practice also involved using false names because the real name would then become a magic word and abstinence word in itself and if you tell it, you could be imprisoned magically.
