Are there any ways of luring Duendes? If so someone with a high quality camera should try to catch one and record it because all I'm seeing is sub 1 megapixel footage.

There is, down here on México we have a lot of folklore about them, from the "chaneques" (small children-lookalike mans who kidnap children) to "aluxes" (Basically the same thing, just the mayan version, perhaps a little bit more playful, but both versions are diabolical/malicious). But, there is this variation, who possess lookalike toys, we call them "Elfos", basically they are string puppets, but even the catholic church have condemn the buy of this things, saying that they truly are alive and self aware, I can do a live search and get you some links (There is some scary stuff) but the majority, if not all, in spanish
