Occultism / satanism is very real. Some families (more than you'll think) have people who practice occult magicisms. Those people will curse and / or sacrifice own family tree members for their own power and desires. Whether that's bad luck or death, it depends on certain situations and satanism ranks.
Who knows if you got some satanic practicer cursing your family. You didn't ask for it, you didn't deserved it, but it happens because those people are self centered egos.
