I've getting paranoid at night all my family and myself sleeps with their tablets or smartphones. I just notice that they are black mirros.I know they are used for scrying but is there any danger of having them around?
There are greater concerns then the things behind the mirrors. Try not to worry about it.
>>18966719
Ok , ill try not to worry about them.
>>18966713
Huh? I know some of the methods involving mirrors but how come black makes it special? How does black mirror differ from regular?
>>18966719
>try not to worry about it.
Yeah. No reason to go banaroid.
It's just the singularity giving itself away before the inevitable Hal 9000 of the Earth
Yes, they can record anything at any time. They also can be activated to record when off. Taking out the battery used to help, supposedly.
Oh and a bunch of experts recently admitted on the TV show "60 Minutes" that they are in reality portable Skinner boxes that brainwash their users into checking them every 15 minutes. Look into it, as anyone who uses them is having their minds altered.
>>18966713
Yes, thats where BM took the name from
>>18966733
>How does black mirror differ from regular?
Depends on the material but a obsidian mirror would have better protective properties in the energies it releases whilst a quartz would just intensify everything
best of /x/ right here
>>18966740
Can't record shit if there's no charge to the components. That's why taking the battery out helped.
Can't take the battery out of most phones now can you, at least not very simply.
>>18966740
I've had a smartphone for ages and I sometimes I don't even check it once in a day. Having no social media helps. But I guess I would if I had a lot of friends or something.
>>18966740
I don't look at my phone all that often. Imageboards are far more addictive for me.
>>18966713
You should absolutely keep your phone out of your bedroom. Or any screen for that matter.

Here's an excellent podcast from Sam Harris where the guest lays out how the modern internet currency is time and attention, thus absolutely everything is being focused on how to psychologically addict us to paying attention to a website for as long as possible.

>>18966918
No, I know why it helped, but I'm suggesting they've overcome that little problem by now.
>>18966960
True. For example, we're all fully aware that the Internet's direction is controlled by the mainstream elites, right?
We all know that there is no getting away from them unless you unplug, so to speak. Right?
>>18967000
Right. And yet here we are. This shit's pretty tough.
>>18966940
Good points. I don't hate all "social media", like old youtube, though.
I have zero friends at this time and most people being glued to their phones doesn't help much, especially when they're female. That is usually a problem in a bar or something, but oddly enough they're "approachable" in the strangest places. How inconvenient.
I feel like society is being dissected by smart phones. Society is certainly being brainwashed to an unsettling degree.
>>18967001
I guess this is what it's like Cypher. I know it's all a trap. I know the way to leave. But I want to be here. I like it.
>>18967001
I'm here because I'm useless at this time and I simply want amusement and maybe a teeny bit of camaraderie. I'm a friendless asshole who's probably run out of opportunities, but I feel strangely optimistic about my own future now.
I think it springtime that's doing it. I'm more of a creature than a man at this point in that way.
>>18967005
I never considered Youtube to be social media. Do people really socialise on Youtube?
>>18966713
Well they sleep with it because you can set your alarm clock on it and you don't have to get up when someone's calling you.
>>18967012
Yes, a ton. People love to disparage the comments, but you'd be surprised.
For example, take the mst3k community.
>>18966763
Thanks m8.
>>18967012
They do. Especially hobby tubers.
because back then it's just lcd, now we have the led, oled, etc
>>18966918
>Can't take the battery out of most phones now can you, at least not very simply.
Of course you can. You just take off the back and the battery slides out, right?
>>18967074
Most phones haven't been manufactured like that for a while.
>>18967091
Really? Both my phone and my wife's work that way.
I think the internet is the beast and I think its possible that smartphones are the "mark" I'm really starting to think this again.
>>18966713
I am very suprised that no once mentioned cancer yet. I remember when all the kids where getting their first mobile phones everyone was upsessed with it. And with time I guess everyone's just forgot.
>>18967127
attention span is shortening. people tend to think about what is being told to them through media, and not think about what is avoided by media.
>>18967091
how is yours constructed, and what model is it?
>buy phone
>phone drops
>screen is cracked
>too expensive to buy a new one
How is this going to affect Gen Z's eyesight? It's not like we browsed the Internet with cracked CRT monitors.

I guess everyone forgot because there is no correlation between mobile phone use and cancer forming. There would have been increasing numbers of many different types of cancer being diagnosed in recent years if they did.
>>18967333
It's called utility. I don't see what's the fuss.
>>18967259
Think he's talking about iPhones
>>18967074
that's impossible with iPhones
