My guess is that people behind Petscop have certain scenes already recorded (can't say that all of them because I think "Paul" asked for suggestions on questions for the Tool character on one of his video descriptions).
Since the theme is a dark one, maybe the censored stuff is a little more explicit about child abuse and such and the thought it was ok during production but changed their mind later.

Or maybe is still part of the story.

There is a video of Candace Newmaker's death that was shown in the trial but was never released to the public. I find that really creepy.

He says he hopes the person he's talking to will be a bit more enthusiastic about coming home (now) - clearly this person also suffers from attachment disorder and is undergoing therapy as the series is being filmed.

Also, the censor bar ruined the series for me. Went from spoopy arg to "like if you want to see more" youtuber attentionshit.

The reason for censoring is clearly because the creator wants to dripfeed the story to maintain interest, not for any good storytelling reason - when watching the original videos, I was involved in detectiveing - I had made charts of the different backgrounds and room layouts in the gifts plane, but the censoring is just a cockblock. It's literally because both are crumbled hard to read text with read paint. Maybe that's a common thing in args.

Fun, but bullshit. This is definitely not a PS game from 97. The menu shows a lot of stylistic options that are definitely modern, and the loading screens etc show an extremely naive interpretation of how games were in the mid to late 90s. If I had to guess, this started as a project for this kid, maybe for a UX class he was taking, and he then turned it into something vaguely creepy.

The username is "PetScop" (its never capitalized like that) and the profile picture is a brightened image of the mystery man in video 4, the brightened image was created by a reddit user the day that the series went viral. The account was also made after the series was gaining popularity. Its a gamejacker.
