So I used to explore abandoned places a while ago, before feeling down some broken stairs and being lost for two hours.
So when I explored a hospital, I saw a cassette tape, in the kids rec room. I examined the tape, no dust, no scratches on the case, I looked all over for a player, every drawer in the entire hospital and closets. there was a lot of boring stuff. no player. so I decided to go home and buy a player online, I reached into my pocket to get the tape to look at it, to Google about what the title, I then realized I didn't have the tape, so I looked for the tape again, boring. so I found the tape where I originally found it, but it was all deteriorated, it looked all dirty. I then heard something loud hit the floor, not like something just fell, but as if someone threw something down as hard as they could, I ran so fucking fast, I basically dived out of the window, I ran as fast as I could to get out of the area, I want to go back to get the tape, but I'm really scared. what the fuck caused this.
wtf that's my uncle lenny

Just go back and get the tape. The noise was probably a cat or raccoon
Do you own weapons? I'm not gonna lie, I don't think theres anything supernatural happening. Take any weapons you can, even just if for the confidence boost. I'm interested

When you get it I'll be interested. I'm a sound engineer and if it's dirty or there's dialogue I can try and clean it up if it isn't too far gone.
I managed to extract an allahu ackbar from the Nice truck attack for /pol/ when news agencies were saying he never said it.
I'll keep this thread open

No significant difference. I prefer WAV to FLAC and AIFF since it's pretty much the standard.
AIFF is good and so is WAV. They're the two I use but to be honest it doesn't matter.
Most of what I record in is 96khz. Since I mostly do sound design. Music in 44.1khz but sounds in 96khz.
Why do you ask?
