I looked into opening the third eye about a week ago and have been developing it since then and I am just now learning about the other chakras. Is it worth it to work on all of them? Or just keep working with the third eye? The third eye is the one I am most interested in. Also I felt pressure on it off and on for a few days even when not meditating and now I cant feel it at unless I am meditating very hard. What do I do?

Yoga. Yoga is essential. Learn the Asanas, there are different ones for stimulating different chakras, or combinations of chakras. Learn Hathayoga. Learn Rajayoga. Like the other anon said, it's about discipline, dedication, and hard work. If you remain faithful to your practice daily, you will experience all kinds of new things. But don't try to rush it, as that can lead to issues.

Look into what "blinds" means in the context of initiatory traditions. Keep an eye out for those mentioning "the need for secrecy." Keep an eye out for those who caution against teaching emptiness/awareness to the unready/unworthy.

As an antidote to your cynicism: Let us contemplate why initiation exists, and why secret societies have multiple levels of truth. Many of these societies--I can't speak to the Indian mysteries specifically--but others were created as a vehicle for insuring that important knowledge didn't die out. Why the need for secrecy? Because it was knowledge considered heretical and not uncommon for heretics to be put to death. See: what happened to the Gnostics. And so, quite reasonably, they were cagey about to whom they shared information. They also realized that not everyone could grok the esoteric truth, plus the need for a vetting period, hence the existence of the exoteric.
