This is a crazy one:

Apparently the original sewer system that was designed for the park was too small and very quickly got overwhelmed by the high attendance.

Disney didn't want to pay the big bucks to get it fixed, so he had his imagineers start using the most advanced genetic engineering they had at the time to breed a life form that would feed on human waste...a literal poop monster!

It took some time but apparently it worked. Now most of the new bathrooms aren't even connected to the sewers anymore, they just feed all the waste into a large subterranean area where this thing will just chow down endlessly.

The crazy part is you've probably seen it. You know that part in Star Wars New Hope where they run into that one-eyed alien thing after the garbage shoot? Well that wasn't a puppet, Walt actually let Goerge Lucas borrow his poop monster for the scene and they actually filmed it in action! Apparently at one point it almost bit off Mark Hamill's face!!!!!

So I just came back from a nearly week-long vacation at Disney World. Actually got on "It's a Small World" and it was quite unnerving. Honestly, near the end of my second day at Magic Kingdom (near the time of the fireworks) I started getting nervous and looked around to see if I could find any evidence of abnormal activity. Doubt I could've found it if I wanted to. So many people go through and actually look harder than I. Which i could've had this thread while I was there. :l

When I worked at Disney back in the day, the underground tunnels at Magic Kingdom were recently constructed and several of my coworkers went missing when they decided to go urban exploring in there at night. All of them mentioned a door with the sign "Uhgarfa" (not sure how it is spelled or even if they pronounced it correctly) that was down a mysterious corridor lined with animatronic Stans.

Come to think of it, I never saw them again after looking for this door.

It almost always makes major news when someone actually dies at an amusement park (like the decapitation at Six Flags over Georgia, or the person who fell off the roller coaster at Six Flags over Texas a few years ago), since it's so rare for something to go wrong. Even then, most accidents are caused by guests going places they shouldn't be, like the kid who got beheaded by Batman. Sure, people probably go to the hospital occasionally, and some might die from dehydration and heat stroke at the big Florida amusement parks, but if people were "regularly" losing their heads there, you'd hear about it, Disney or not.
