It's been the second time now, on the verge of falling asleep i hear a very loud noise like a voice that yells for just a second or a very loud waterdrop and it freaks me out.. It's not coming from my surroundings and while it happens I get the sensation of being out of air or something very heavy laying on my chest but it all happens in a very short time.. When i calm down and realise it's nothing i can go back to sleep and nothing happens.. Someone explain? Maybe someone has a related experience?

Hypnogogic hallucinations. I have experienced this many times over the years, and it's actually not uncommon.
usually what I hear is somebody saying or shouting my name loudly into my ear, but sometimes it's other brief sentences or words. it's especially annoying when i'm having bad insomnia and it wakes me up just before i finally get some needed rest.
