Here is a few pictures of stars and planets up close. I live in a place that's always cloudy but if you have and optical zoom camera go outside at night and start mapping the stars.

bump, thanks anon
Ah yes, the anon's digital camera can more accurately show what stars and planets look like than the best telescopes of space agencies around the world
Fucking moron

So, stars look like urinal cakes?
>>18942940
more like lgbt donuts
>>18942849
Its a tiny little bright point of light being digitally enhanced and sharpaned with camera image processing which is not designed to take photos of stars but to take photos of normal life stuff and people. So it looks all warped. Its nothing.
Why dont you do a little home experiment OP, buy a consumer grade telescope and see for yourself that the planets do infact look like what the scientists say they do with your own eyes.
>this is what planets and stars look like up close
You zoomed in on them, anon, but you forgot to focus.

Fucking this
>b..but muh nasa shills

everything is in focus

OP's pic is egregiously out of focus.
The link in my post demonstrates that. He gets the same effect out of focus, and then focuses the camera.
In fact the retard in OP's link even mentions he's unfocusing his camera to get the effect.
How the fuck is there a hole in the middle and a clearly defined cross? This is not a gas ball burning billions on miles away
SHILLS ETERNALLY BTFO!!!

A reflector telescope has a flat mirror in the front that is tiltet 45° so that it reflects the focused light from the concave mirror in the back out to the side of the tube where you then view the image.
The flat mirror is held up by 4 struts and it's not visible when the image is in focus but if you're out of focus the mirror is clearly visible aswell as the struts creating a cross.
Also, those struts are what creates those spikes that shoot out from stars. It's an optical effect and your eyelashes do the same when you squint your eyes at a bright light source.

And here are the spikes that I mentioned. They are caused by the struts holding up the secondary mirror.

Are you retarded
That's what points of light looks like when they are out of focus.
I made this image by putting aluminium foil over a flashlight and poking a small hole in it with a needle creating a small point of light and then snapping a picture.

what a load of bollocks
I increased the brightness on my galaxy picture making the dust particles on my ir/uv-filter visible and since the dust is out of focus they will take the shape of the optical opening. The same thing happens to stars. The black spot is the secondary mirror in the telescope.

Next youll say telescopes are part of the conspiracy, right?
>>18943034
Your camera can not properly focus on objects that far away.
Anyway, this thread is funny as shit.
>>18945935
everything is in focus
>>18944180
Yes. The telescopes are intentionally designed to provide subjective, NASA-shill images. In fact, the human eye is a NASA conspiracy.
