Dude. I know what alchemy is, there's no such thing as "alchemy levels." Mana is a concept among Pacific islands, and has nothing to do with alchemy. Nor does necromancy, for that matter. And none of them has much to do with pyromancy.

Except maybe alchemy, purely by mutual association with fire. (Alchemists have a particular love for it due to how much they use it.)

What do I look like, a recruiting agent? The circles in Fullmetal Alchemist are borrowed from magical practices. A lot of the symbolism is really well-done in FMA, but its representation of alchemy is (purposefully) unrealistic. Quite frankly, real alchemy would be boring to look at.

If you can't do this you can't do alchemy, because this is the bare minimum required. Without this philosophical background you can't possibly understand alchemy, as there is no true division between alchemy and philosophy.
