Once you study the religion and its history, it's clear as fuck how Revelation is to the jews as The Divine Comedy is to corrupt italian politicians. Early christianity was rebelling against judaism, after all.

Specifically, the passages that talk about the antichrist (from the Jerusalem Bible, Revelations 13):

How could anybody defeat him?" 5 For forty-two months the beast was allowed to mouth its boasts" and blasphemies and to do whatever it wanted; 6 and it mouthed its blasphemies against God, against his name his heavenly Tent and all those who are sheltered there. 7 It was allowed to make war against the saints and conquer them, and given power over every race, people, language and nation; 8 and all people of the world will worship it, that is, everybody whose name has not been written down since the foundation of the world in the book of life of the sacrificial Lamb. 9 If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen: 10 Captivity for those who are destined for captivity; the sword for those who are to die by the sword! This is clearly discussing one of the beasts from Daniel 7:

So the 4 beasts most likely define the 4 major prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel). The one quoted on Revelation is the leopard, the third one, which would be Ezekiel, who prophesized the jews would end up in Babylon - notice how by the time the Bible was written, most jews were already in exile in Babylon. Also notice the Revelations passages about the Whore of Babylon. So yeah, the beast is p much the Babylonian jews, aka the scribes and pharisees who ended up writing the Babylonian Talmud. If you read the gospels, you can see how what the early christians were rebelling against was these scribes and pharisees writing new rules. Jesus/the early christians believed the direction judaism was going was the wrong one, specially when it came to rules about usury and scamming and shit like that (pic related), so they split.

Anyway, back to the antichrist and Revelation, from 13:11 it discusses the false prophet/antichrist, which is the enforcer of the rule of the beast/Babylonian judaism:

The thing about it gaining power over the whole world is pretty important (that's the whole point of the Book of Daniel - the promise that once the "Prince", who the christians consider Jesus, rises up, they'll rule the world). The thing about having to be branded in order to buy and sell shit is pretty clear too (remember the usury thing?). But the is where it's at.

(((Historians))) have this myth that the 666 refers to Nero. But it's much simpler. Just, think of the Flag of Israel. Anything comes to mind?
