ITT: Things aliens would find strange if we gave them a tour of Earth
>what do you mean you take blood out of your body and give it to strangers? WHY WOULD YOU TAKE OUT YOUR ORGANS AND GIVE THEM TO RANDOM PEOPLE?
>"so why are all countries friends who want to kill eachother?" "nuclear explosive incidents/threats"
pic related, its the alien's face when he hears about all our shit
bump for interest
>If youre all one species, why do all of you not look the same? why do you have 100+ languages?
its kinda shit but its just something i think about

Hundreds of congressmen of United States of America legislating for hundreds of millions of Americans of United States of America.
>you species is your biggest predator
>ownership
>what do you mean when you're walking directly at another, you do a dance before passing each other?
Gifts of plant genitals as a show of affection

made me smile, more fun stuff than serious stuff
>>18921615
frying up fungus genitals with onions and fermented red grape juice and putting it on a grilled slab of flesh from a mooing mammal

Hypothetically, an alien capable of deep space travel would have gone to many places and seen or heard about enough shit to not be shocked by much. Not to mention the experiences had on their own world.
Sure, they'd be different from us and maybe be puzzled due to language barriers or lack of context, but they'd be able to work it out and not give 2 shits.
You're thinking of aliens as though they were say, an ancient human or something. Someone with absolitely ZERO frame of refference to try and understand things on a global scale. Or in a modern context.
Honestly, an advanced alien race would probably see us like we see cave men, and more or less be amused by us banging our pointy sticks against the ground and grand standing like chimps (so to speak)

Unless you're the first world they traveled to. Mothaducka
>>18921613
Hah.
>>18921668
from all the possible worlds in the universe
>why would anyone come here first?
>>18921702
Poor sense of direction.
>>18921660
>pointy sticks against the ground
our sticks arn't just pointy anymore, they explode metal and shit now too, and we can explode metal into space too, we are space chimps now

why we use base 10 to count

58:2.4.Your sun pours forth a veritable flood of death-dealing rays, and your pleasant life on Urantia is due to the "fortuitous" influence of more than two-score apparently accidental protective operations similar to the action of this unique ozone layer.
58:2.5.Were it not for the "blanketing" effect of the atmosphere at night, heat would be lost by radiation so rapidly that life would be impossible of maintenance except by artificial provision.

This.
They would probably understand more about us than even we do ourselves. To their superior brains we would probably seem like predictable 2D comic characters.
"What do you mean you can communicate only 1 word per second? We can communicate 500 ideas per millisecond simultaneously and telepathically."

>implying blood is an organ
>>18922872
Ever heard of an organ donor, friendo?
>>18921613
Haha took me like 30s and 4 reads to get. Thanks for the belly laugh anon
Wait, you have so many bones in your mouth that were designed to rip flesh out of other living beings, that you have some other stranger rip some of them out of your head literally because otherwhise they wouldn´t have enough space?
>>18921613
dont get it
