Free will (in the sense that your conscious mind has any final say in your decision making) is lunacy. Determinism might be correct from some points of view but it's also totally bs from realistic ones. The truth is as it appears to be, it doesn't matter if you think you have free will or not, you'll pretty much act the same.

The way you react to things is as much your conscious control as the way you act in general. Your conscious mind doesn't decide any of it, but it takes credit for it. Still, none of it really matters. Fun to think about but inconsequential except maybe in the justice system.
