trending number 4 on Twitter as well so it's in the normiesphere even.

https://twitter.com/i/moments/852591835591692289

is this the home of the Greys? or the pilots of the flying saucers of the 20th/21st century or other craft?
>>
More CGI NASA fiction coming up
>>
not that big of a deal honestly

theyve theorized that it could for years they say similar things about titan and its methane oceans or ice crystals on mars

call us when the ships arrive
>>
>>18889730
>not that big of a deal

>they've theorized

i wish i was as dense as you. fuckin ez life
>>
We've known that it "could" have life ever since we realized it probably has a liquid ocean under the surface. This announcement isn't surprising by any means - we just now know that it had a liquid ocean AND has sufficient geological activity to support terrestrial microbes
>>
>>18889750
We know water can contain life, Saturn's moon has water so it probably has life
it's not really that had to put together
>>
NASA lies.
>>
well if NASA says it, then obviously there's some credibility here.

We can always trust NASA, because they're a government agency, and the government would never lie to its people, right?
>>
Wow you woke plebbitors are retarded.

Life = micro organisms
If there was a civilization that near we could easily fucking spot them with infrared or even radio waves

Sage this shit thread

Oh cool every floating rock in space is STILL a 100% pixel perfect sphere.
>>
>>18889717
The joke here is that they quite literally removed the hair from a man's ballsack, stretched it out, took a picture of his left but, photoshopped it blue, and told you it was a planet.

Honestly the greatest joke you can play on the world.
They are in tears laughing, I guarantee you.
>>
>>18891053

Retarded.
You can clearly see how it isn't a perfect sphere

It's sounds surprising to me, excuse me for not being completely aware on the latest of exo-life discoveries.
>>
>>18891079
I don't agree with this statement at all. Go test this theory of yours in ms paint and you will find that every single NASA image ever published of a "planet" is a 100% pixel perfect circle.

Don't floating rocks in space have mountains and stuff?
>>
>>18891106

Retarded
They are not perfect spheres. You can't see it with your eyes but you can actually calculate it from the picture itself
>>
>>18891106
You realise how far away that photo is taken from, right? Those little lines are mile deep ravines.

Does our moon not appear perfectly spherical when you look at it even through a telescope?

You're an idiot tbf.

I'm a Gnostic and I don't think Nasa pictures are fake. So you're just retarded. Not "woke"
>>

1. I don't know what a gnostic is, I don't worship false gods.
2. Here is a thesaurus so you can learn words that aren't "retard" and "autistic." www.thesaurus.com
3. I don't know what "woke" means, in your 4chan conspiracy lingo format, so it's hard to claim I am such a thing.
4. NASA lies. Everyone knows it.
>>
>>18891157
Well, you said that there are no mountains, while enceladius clearly shows some spectacular "geography" for a moon covered in ice. Maybe chill with buzzwords and ellaborate on what you mean with "no mountains".

I know that nobody will convince anybody itt. Just want to know where people like you are coming from
>>
>>18891181
>im fucking insane
What pill is this guy even on
>>
>>18890978
What makes you think they would use radio waves? Maybe they use something else. They could be more alien than we expect. I don't think there's advanced life there, but it always seems weird that scientists assume alien species would use radio waves.
>>
Fucking Saturn cult.
>>
>>18891181
>I don't know what a gnostic is
>Here is a thesaurus so you can learn words

>learn words that aren't "retard"
This is a valid description for anyone who believes the earth is flat

>I don't know what "woke" means, so it's hard to claim I am such a thing
In what world is that a valid argument?
>>
>>18891158
Just don't believe any of it. /x/ is full of bullshitters, god-thumpers and role-players. The only thing it's good for is conspiracy threads and horror recommendations. The rest is roleplayers playing "ooo lets pretend".
>>
>>18891237
>What makes you think they would use radio waves?
Radio waves - being the lowest frequency of the EM spectrum - are best suited for long range communication. It's not a matter of culture or tech, it's a matter of physics. Aliens might have something that transmits faster than light. They could have perfected some sort of quantum tunneling and superposition to create instant transfer of info.

But how would we look for communications that a) we have no idea how it would work or what signals it would give off and b) would likely not "travel" through spacetime as we understand the action? Doesn't it make more sense to look around and see if anyone is out there using what we know to be good tech for long-range communication first? I mean, you're not going to get much better than a message going the fastest speed possible when moving through spacetime.
>>
>>18891237
>Maybe they use something else.
and what would that be? magic?
>>
>>18889717

>>
>>18891709
That´s true and we can do it also. We just need 2 quantum particles that are entangled, put them into different boxes, and we can send morse codes like this instantly. However, it will be just a one-time transmission, but if the strange quark theory will prove right we can entangle them at the distance. Another mean is to use matter-antimatter flip-switch, where we can switch between the two (because supposedly antimatter has an opposite arrow of time, that´s why it disappears even in the absolute vacuum without any matter and without being suspended by magnetic field.)
>>
>>18892217

Look closer, that's mars itself.

It looks untouched by solar radiation despite it's position in the solar system.
If we could unzip the mysteries of this planet, we could inhabit it, even though it is a barren wasteland where no woman has ever gone.
If we could put space suits on and walk on this planet, we would have little trouble growing plants and fungi.
The conditions are just right to go balls to the wall and have a new sphere to stand on, but we must be gentle and slow, so as not to break it as we have done our home planet.
Scientists have discovered water here, we only need a couple seconds to land on the planet and dig out the ooze that would be the basis of all life, perhaps even our own.
