Black magic is achieved by focusing emotional energy onto a concept until your perception of reality alters enough to make it so. Results are sparce and temporary at best but quicker over all.
White magic focuses on understanding the current state of reality and how your concept could possibly work it's way into existence. A far longer process but will reap better rewards.
In short black magic is the equivalent of throwing a psychic temper tantrum until the world changes into your favor and white magic is making a compromise with reality to allow your to naturally occur.
