As an atheist i think "life" after death is a possibility due to quantum physics and us not knowing shit about them.

From my point of view, "life" after death would probably be a qualia, an experience that cannot be understood unless you personally experience it (like being in a 4D plane). And logic tells me that probably not everyone gets an "afterlife", or at least not everyone (or maybe no one) gets to maintain their rational thinking or consciousness.

I'd say the ego could be related to this, as if the bigger/strong your ego is, the "easier" time you'll get, so maybe it's good to be a self centered douchebag or have a superiority complex.
