The system is called gatewalking and has these correspondences.
The knowledge required to understand this tradition would yield a tradition on its own. But this tradition isn't really meant to be a religion on its own. It's goals are similar to those in tantra, namely uniting the astral selves one by one to achieve oneness with the highest principle. Beyond this it's more effective than nearly everything else I've worked with, when understood and followed correctly.

Many of the procedures for the tradition are layed out in the narrative of the book, such as this excerpt:

How can I reach higher states of consciousness? I meditate, zazen meditation is really great. I've for some psychedelics after heavy meditation.

How do you reach such levels? Is there other things like meditation and dharma that I can use to raise my levels of conciousness? I have a lot of pain and fear in my life that I hide fairly well and I can reduce with meditation.
Meditation can still really surface pain for me which isn't always easy to work through, I understand that eventually I'll start becoming happier and happier after moving through this pain weighing on me but still, can I use magick to make myself happier and achieve higher levels of consciousness?

i would take some time to think about what you feel connected to and what you want out of the path long term.

as for simple beginnings, books i've found useful were initiation into hermetics by franz bardon, astral dynamics, self initiation by cicero, visual magick by jan fries, the psychonaut field manual and liber null/psychonaut by peter carroll (i dont recommend chaos magick as a path but it's useful for understanding mechanics)
