(Note: I'm not religious.)
When I was around 10 I moved to London. A few months later I started going to school. I won't lie, shit was pretty hard for the first month. I had about 10 fights in the first week (won them all), had no-friends, and basically got ignored by the class. I was an outsider. Nobody wanted to play with me.
One morning, on the way to school, I noticed a dark pattern on a paving stone. It looked like a face. On closer inspection it looked like a demon face (horns, evil eyes, pointy teeth). It gave me the creeps desu, so I ignored it and went to school.
I'd see this pattern everyday on the way to school and tended to walk around it rather than step on it, then one day I thought fuck it, I'm gonna stand on it, so I did, and.... nothing happened.
So, I started stepping on this "face" everyday on the way to school. Then one day for some reason I stopped and stood on it for a few minutes. I don't know why, but I started basically praying to this face. "Please let me have friends/be popular/get a gf" whatever. Dumb kid shit.
I started doing this everyday, for about 2 months.
I eventually found friends in the school, became popular, was respected because I'd took on all the tough kids, and school became awesome. I even had a few gfs. I forgot all about the pattern on the road and had a normal childhood.

Then around the age of 15 I started having nightmares. Nothing lucid, just average nightmares. At first it was twice a week, then 3 times, then 4 times, then it was every night. I've had nightmares now everynight since the age of 15 (I'm 30). My only escape was weed. I started smoking weed which would basically allow me to have a dreamless sleep. Close eyes>blackness>wake up. I did this throughout my 20's, until I quit 2 years ago.
After quitting I had nightmares, which is normal after quitting weed, but a year later I was still having nightmares, every night, I have done for the past 2 years. Doctors offer me sleeping pills but fuck that.
I'm a good guy. I've never hurt anyone, I help old folks on the street, I always say please and thankyou, hold doors for people etc The only "bad" thing I've ever done was pray to this goddamn face when I was 10.
I think I've fucked up. I think I've made a deal with the devil. I don't believe in the devil, but it's the only thing I can think of where I've done something bad in life.
I'm not asking for advice here, I just wanted to write this down. I had a dream lastnight that I was being held hostage in some house by "demons" and it has jogged my memory of certain things.
I'm going to offer you advice and a warning. Whether you believe in the devil or not, DO NOT pray to the cunt. Not even as a joke, a dare, or because your dog is fucking dying. DO NOT offer him your allegiance.

You're confused - Moses is the devil. The true gods take on many forms but never the Mosaic form because it is profaned with the blood of the innocent spilled by mortals. The gods may be trying to scare you for your safety.
I sold my soul to God as a child and grew up to be a pagan witch who was granted apotheosis - your nightmares are nothing compared to what I've seen the gods do.

You sounds like you're panicking
Why fear evil ?
>>18849997
In your religious universe the Devil is the reason you're writing this here today, i doubt someone who made humanity a favor and get kicked out of heaven by his dick father for it, would invest his time and thoughts in torturing your ordinary ass.

>Love is the great protector
>All is one.
:)
>>18849787
Aight, here's a christian man's view on this.
Don't panic. You made a bogus deal.
Let me explain this.
After adam and eve sinned and got thrown out of heaven, their offspring were pretty much cursed to hell unless they worshipped god.
You are an offspring of adam and eve, pretty much. The point is, you can't sell your soul to the devil, because if you never believed in god, your soul always belonged to satan. Everybody's did. Only by asking for forgiveness and help from god (and maybe a priest with your demon pact situation) can your soul be free from those evil bonds. God loves you, and always has. That's why he gave his only son, Jesus Christ, to be killed for your sins! Don't trust satan's lies. Jesus loves you, and so does god.
>>18849997
Honestly i can't understand why you would think Moses is the devil. He was merely a man of god who led his people out of egyptian slavery with the help of god.
And if we're talking about the blood of innocents, when god let loose the flood, all of the other people except noah were corrupted sinners and had little faith in god. God saw Noah and his family as the only ones, who had been faithful to him and decided to let them live as the only people on earth.
>>18850078
>made humanity a favor
He tried to overthrow god with an army of angels who were with him. He tried to top the guy who created him.
God was disappointed in him and couldn't believe his perfect creation was revolting against him, so he threw him out of heaven and made him the jailor of the damned.
His job is to punish those who have sinned.
Besides, the bible describes hell as a great lake of fire, in which all sinners will burn for all eternity, so i think when you're thrown there, you don't have any other choice but to suffer.
>>18850223
That's all good but there are two crucial points here.
The Devil give you intelligence, you're not a retarded half monkey unaware of his own existence, thanks to the Devil.
The bible is known for its metaphors, if there was such a place as hell i doubt it'd be a literal lake of fire, it seems pretty unpractical for any purpose, specially taking into account that demons live there.
>>18850240
But then again, demons are the most obvious metaphor of the bible.
>>18850240
The devil gave you intelligence, yes. But god gave you free will, so you could be free to do and think whatever you want.
The tree of information good and evil was a test set by god in order to see how faithful his creation was. Unfortunately man was tricked by satan and god threw them out of eden, but still let them have free willl. It's your choice what you do with your free will, but the point is that god loved his creation so much, that he gave it free will, so they could think for their own.
And again, that is of course a meraphor, yes. Therw are many interpretations of hell, but that's the one that's in the bible and used the most. Also demons can fly, so i doubt it would be a problem.
However i do have a theory that hell is pretty much a place with the lake of fire, but there is a shore and small island.
Then again, it could be just a pool full of thumbtacks and salt for all we know.
>>18850223
>Honestly i can't understand why you would think Moses is the devil. He was merely a man of god who led his people out of egyptian slavery with the help of god.

Here's the thing.
The Bible tells us that during that period the Israelite slaves were forced to make only mud bricks (Exodus 5:10-14). This detail is consistent with the type of brick used to construct pyramids. In fact, according to Exodus 5:7, Pharaoh told the taskmasters, “You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.” We are not sure if these bricks were even meant for the pyramids.
It's plausible that the israelites made the bricks and these 'honorable' egyptian workers made those bricks into a pyramid
Also, the slavery of the Israelites ended abruptly at the Exodus. According to archeologist A. R. David, the slaves suddenly disappeared. He admits that “the quantity, range and type of articles of everyday use which were left behind in the houses may indeed suggest that the departure was sudden and unpremeditated.” The Egyptian army that was destroyed at the Red Sea was led by Pharaoh himself (Exodus 14:6), and this could account for the fact that no burial place or mummy has been found for the 13th-dynasty Pharaoh Neferhotep I.
>>18850430
>Pharaoh told the taskmasters, “You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.” We are not sure if these bricks were even meant for the pyramids.
It's still a lie and the burning bushes still don't talk...

Then how come they did that in ancient egypt though?
Point is you believe in a bunch of deities who still need sacrifices in order to work.
Pretty selfish and lazy from a god if you ask me...
Back in the ancient times, sacrifices for the lord were a thing. I know that. The hebrews did that, and the jews of today do too, because like you, they reject the sacrifice god has made for them and don't even believe he exists. HE made a sacrifice to US, and that humbles me more than anything else. The creator of mankind sacrificed his only son to make up for our sins, because he didn't want any more of us people to go to hell.

There was a brief period of "retainer sacrifices" in like 3000 BC but they grew out of it and had like 2500 years of non-human sacrifices before being conquered by the Greeks who also didn't do human sacrifices. Additionally, their deaths with the Pharaoh was symbolic of their loyalty to the Pharoah and not done

That's what I was saying - you don't understand the divine power dynamics because your theological views come from the Jewish book. I was saying it was unlikely from your comments you've sold your soul to any "devil:"
> I'm a good guy. I've never hurt anyone, I help old folks on the street, I always say please and thankyou, hold doors for people etc The only "bad" thing I've ever done was pray to this goddamn face when I was 10.
You assume if an entity tries to assert dominance over you it's hostile. I've had the gods put me through a nightmare where I spent 9 years as an atheist trying to figure out why I seemed to be some sort of "angel of death" (famous people would die immediately after comments about them, earthquakes and disasters would happen almost immediately after some of my internet comments in ways that seemed too coincidental to be accident).
I would sometimes take screenshots of these events - for example, on the left.
Eventually I understood I am deeply bound to a superhuman power and I have no regrets about it.

I've had hour-long religious arguments with Jehovah's Witnesses for stopping me in the street, I know how easy it is to get into debates anon. kek
At the end of the day, people believe what they want. Some people find solace in religion, good for them. I take one look at the Bible/Dead Sea Scrolls and immedietly call bullshit. It's fairytales imo. That being said, I've raised money for Churches and worked voluntarily for them just because in small communities they help folk a great deal. I don't wanna bash their book. For all I know there IS a god, I just need solid proof before I commit to such thoughts. Atheists believe there's no god just as much as religionists believe there is a god. Both are going on faith, and there's a total lack of evidence to support either view.

That's a bit too normal to be taken seriously in my opinion. Strange coincidences happen all the time.
I was born on the same day and month Samuel Colt, the founder of Colt firearms, died. I'm a firearms enthusiast and i like the design of most Colt guns. My favourites are the Colt SAA aka Peacemaker, Colt python and the classic m16.
Does this mean i'm the reincarnation of Samuel Colt? No.
I was also born on the same day and month as Grigori Rasputin, a russian mystic, according to the Julian calendar, and i am strangely very interested in the occult, paranormal and the unknown. That's why i'm on /x/.
Does that mean i'm the reincarnation of Samuel Colt and Grigori Rasputin? Hell no.
Again, i was born on the same day the treaty of Versailles was ratified. I am a firm believer that this treaty was uncalled for and the fact that the germans were framed unfairly as the country that started the war. I am also a supporter of national socialism and i admire how great germany was during the 3rd reich.
Does that mean i'm the reincarnation of Samuel Colt and Grigori Rasputin, who is destined to become the Führer of the 4th reich? Still no.
Strange coincidences happen, even though they may be too good to be true.
I do understand that you had a religious experience and i respect that, but i don't think that makes any sense.
I also once watched Pulp Fiction and when Jules asked vincent what time it is and he said it's 7:22, it was exactly that time in PM.

Ah, well, I gave you some significant objective evidence - it's up to you to analyze it objectively. I'm pretty decent at physics myself. I got A's in calc-based Classical Mechanics and calc-based Electromagnetism. I got an A in ODE's as well, but I didn't study much beyond that in physical sciences. Well, I am definitely a god - and I was an atheist last September (who had some astoundingly frightening experiences which I thought were man made and took me too long to figure out were a superhuman entity using me as a focal point for a demonstration of its power) - so I would expect all sorts of messed up stuff in the near future because we live on a planet where that word is severely degenerated by Moses.

96:3.1 (1055.4) The beginning of the evolution of the Hebraic concepts and ideals of a Supreme Creator dates from the departure of the Semites from Egypt under that great leader, teacher, and organizer, Moses. His mother was of the royal family of Egypt; his father was a Semitic liaison officer between the government and the Bedouin captives. Moses thus possessed qualities derived from superior racial sources; his ancestry was so highly blended that it is impossible to classify him in any one racial group. Had he not been of this mixed type, he would never have displayed that unusual versatility and adaptability which enabled him to manage the diversified horde which eventually became associated with those Bedouin Semites who fled from Egypt to the Arabian Desert under his leadership. *
96:3.2 (1055.5) Despite the enticements of the culture of the Nile kingdom, Moses elected to cast his lot with the people of his father. At the time this great organizer was formulating his plans for the eventual freeing of his father’s people, the Bedouin captives hardly had a religion worthy of the name; they were virtually without a true concept of God and without hope in the world.
96:3.3 (1055.6) No leader ever undertook to reform and uplift a more forlorn, downcast, dejected, and ignorant group of human beings. But these slaves carried latent possibilities of development in their hereditary strains, and there were a sufficient number of educated leaders who had been coached by Moses in preparation for the day of revolt and the strike for liberty to constitute a corps of efficient organizers. These superior men had been employed as native overseers of their people; they had received some education because of Moses’ influence with the Egyptian rulers.
>>18850742
89:6.8 (981.5) The spectacle of Abraham constrained to sacrifice his son Isaac, while shocking to civilized susceptibilities, was not a new or strange idea to the men of those days. It was long a prevalent practice for fathers, at times of great emotional stress, to sacrifice their first-born sons. Many peoples have a tradition analogous to this story, for there once existed a world-wide and profound belief that it was necessary to offer a human sacrifice when anything extraordinary or unusual happened.
You sound like reasonable and stable guy, OP. I don't think you sold your soul, that is really, really hard to do. By praying to this entity (possibly demon/low vibrational being or whatever the fuck you wanna call it) you traded some energy and it kind of "pushed" you. You may have some debt to pay, or some bad karma but trust me its nothing too serious. You should probs see a priest/exorcist or a psychic, they can help you. Do you have intrusive thoughts?
