I'm from Pakistan and its not a cult it's fake news.

It was just a saint. We have many families here whose ancestors were poet preachers and they just made money off of their names by claiming to be miracle worker.

This particular one either suffered from paranoia or discovered a plot to poison him o just feared for his life after killing the saint before him.

Anyways he selected 20 suspects who were his devotees. He called them to his shrine and tied them up. He then tortured them with sticks and machetes ( to punish them in this world so they'd be spared from hell. Nice guy ) and killed them to ,as he claimed, "save his life".

He is under arrest and the 20 people included a police officer on leave and 2 women.
