It's mathmatical structure that could be the answer, to understanding the concept of infinite. It's infinitely large, like the universe, correct? Must be some answers there.

It's proof of a flawed mathematical system that allows negative numbers.
Whether (-) numbers should be allowed to exist in math was a debate at the start. The wrong side won.

No, they are pretty representations of the complex numbers. Complex numbers are a combination of real numbers and imaginary numbers (square root of -1). They are very useful but totally fictional.

Also, the mandelbrot set is built by constantly splitting units into smaller units. Whatever this reality is we inhabit, it does not work like that. There is a size limit it seems for min/max masses of objects.
