>>
Just start with this.
>>
>>18838590
HAHAHAHA

I come here every once in a while just to laugh at you pathetic pieces of human waste. And you just made my fucking day.
>>
Haha everybody has Kybalion and Bardon in their lists... hohoho. A lot of good stuff in these, too.
>>
>>18839822
Whatever floats your boat, but it sure is sad if you need to stoop that low to feel better about yourself. You must lead a miserable existence.
>>
>>18839852
You don't think Atkinson's books are worth reading?
>>
>>18839892
>>18839892
Well, Kybalion is a bit new-agey for my taste, but it depends on what you're looking to get out of it when you pick it up that ultimately determines its value. I just plain old don't care for Franz Bardon. I know a lot of people seem to have success with his methods, which is great, but they just don't do it for me. They give me the impression of an armchair theorist, and I can't shrug it off.
>>
>>18839852
Kybalion and Bardon are memes. The only good discussion about magic is in the OMG threads, the rest are not even worth the attempt of saving them.
>>
>>18839926
What about the Arcane Teachings/Formulas?
>>
>>18839943
From Bardon? What is your question exactly?
>>
>>18839979
If you were asking if they're worth anything, I'd have to read over his exegesis of them again... but I can tell you that they can be found elsewhere, in more comprehensive texts that include less speculation and more actual experience. One of the main things I remember about Bardon are some of his silly instructions, and the fact that he thought the scent of rose and the color red applied to just about everything.
>>
>>18839979
I was talking about Atkinson's books. From this pic.
>>18838204
>>
>>18839997
I would have to check them out a bit before commenting, though some of their other books seem like re-hashes of older books... For example there is an excellent book called Psychic Self- Defence by Dion Fortune, and it looks like some guy tried to re-invent the wheel with a similar book. But I will withhold judgment on the two you mentioned until I read them.

Ok. Thanks. I was thinking about reading the books suggested in this pic, but I was a little hesitant with his recommendation of the kybalion and bardon. I have heard the science of breath mentioned a few times here but the reviews are mixed.
>>
>>18840040
Whoever posted pic in your post doesn't seem to have the first clue what they are talking about, so I would recommend just ignoring that. IDK if you frequent the /omg/ thread, but a link to a massive free library is in the OP, and there are a number of initiates and actual practitioners there. That's where I always go when I have a question.
>>
>>18840048
Yeah, I have downloaded some texts from Ape's library. I'll check out those threads.

This link has a book called Monsters, by John Michael Greer, and every item from its annotated bibliography that I was able to find:

I can't believe that "The Decline of the West" by Oswald Spengler isn't on this list. He pretty much predicted the degenerate state the US is in right now. He attributes much of the decline to the creation of cities as opposed to rural societies. It's required reading.

>>
Guys, would you accept a torrent of 220 gigabytes right?
>>
>>18840961
I dunno how much utter garbage is in it?
/fringe/'s library was that sized but filled with really dubious a/v files.

My library's about 40+gb and 5.5k books, curated for content.
>>
>>18840961
Forget it, I just downsize it for good

>>18840966
No need to feel less Ape, is not a contest and wasn't meant to contain exactly the same books

Meaning, chill
>>
>>18840976
The point is nobody wants to be forced to go through 200 gigs of garbage for a couple good books, torrent or no. This isn't even 5k books so the size sounds inflated.
>>
>>18840999
Of course, back a couple of threads we talk about how to put good order to all, also adding other stuff apart from the books like infographics.

Is all well sorted, and Ape has nothing to fear, I put less redundancy. Of course classic books and many introductions into the occult are still there.
>>
Why is Prometheus Rising brought up so much? Isn't it some kind of self help book?
>>
>>18841081
No, it presents a pretty insteresting theory on how the mind works. And it's not occult per se but I guess you could call it a good starting point. Also it's pretty easy to read as it doesnt delve into strange terminology and the author, as a good discordian, includes humor everywhere.

I vouch for making it bigger, let the ones downloading it to decide if they want the whole package or not.

I would highly recommend Carl Sagan's Dragons of Eden. Haven't read this one.

>Teatro Grottesco

Heard so much good about it but when I finally got to read it, it was so underwhelming.
It had 2 or 3 good stories but the rest was a complete snoozefest. I get that he tries to build up atmosphere and all, but in the end it amounts to nothing imho

The All-Embracing Library.jpg

And finally, here it is:

The All-Embracing Library.
Size 177.96GB. I dare to say contains among the best books of their fields and are supposed not to repeat. It is a extremely well ordered collection by topic, and if you compare the size you soon see its value. Topics range from mathematics, physics, psychology, self improvement, survivalism, the best science fiction and fantasy literature, comics, magazines, and more. Did I mention is well sorted and contains only the best books?

But another thing, it is specially /x/ intensive, in part for containing material like Fangoria magazines and creepypasta included in the horror fiction folder.

Would you kindly share this torrent on other places like demonoid and the pirate bay? That would be good.
