I think the statue was worth more like $6800. Still insane to just have where he lives. Shit, I'm a US fag and that would be a shit ton to spend on a statue. Pretty interesting case. I think the poor bastard was likely just kidnapped, given that Dad is a politician and well... It's South America.

hi i live in brazil and i have to say: there are plenty of nuthouse esoteric people here. i've known plenty of similar stories and it's just people going crazy over some ecumenic bullshit/ashtar sheram and running into the woods.

also, Acre is one of the least civilized places in Brazil and it's right next to one of the deepest forests in the entire planet. no wonder he's vanished.
