Good job OP a favorite topic of mine...
>>
>>18829358
Sitri is my favorite as well. He's a pretty chill demon.
>>
>>18829361
And he makes you a hit with the ladies
>>
>>18829377
Yeah. Another great demon is Amon, he's very wise and likes Opal. He's stern and down to business, but helps rather than playing games with people.
>>
>>18829383
Interesting Amon is a demon I always advice people from working with. My personal experience is that he has a real nasty streak...
>>
>>18829389
He helped out a friend of mine very well. I personally suggest not working with Valefor, he likes to cause a lot of trouble from what I've noticed.
>>
>>18829395
Well it even states he is great until you are caught in the trap. A few of them truly are fair weather friends...
>>
>>18829402
Which has given you the worst experience?
>>
>>18829405
Worst? I would have to say Bael. I did it arrogantly and when I didn't want to continue with the partnership it was bad for a while

Made me lose the cocky attitude about this system.
>>
>>18829413
Why in hell would you want a partnership with any of the Lemegeton, if I may ask?
>>
>>18829413
I've been wanting to work with Bael for a while, but from what I've heard he's a very rough demon to work with. Paimon seems to be the most friendly out of the Kings, till you stop listening that is.
>>
>>18829416
Hmmmm

Well there was the interest in getting thier side of the story so to speak.

Also I am interested in many magick and occult systems and like to test the effectiveness.
>>
>>18829433
Right... well, to each their own, but I wouldn't think you would have to form a partnership to do that.
>>
>>18829419
Yes King Paimon has been a very successful partner with me many times but never forget with him he is very subservient to Lucifer.

If you're going to stop listening to his instructions it may mess up very complicated machinations that he has going on.

It's going to get testy.
>>
>>18829438
I always partner. I would never coerce or order them around. It's a quid pro quo all the way...
>>
I summoned Baron Samedi before. He just laughed at me. What a little bastard.
>>
When you guys do your opening/invocation, do you do the GRH in a single direction, or do you draw the appropriate number of hexagrams all around the room, keyed to the planet in question?
>>
>>18829453
Voodoo is very different than Western Ceremonial Magick...
>>
>>18829474
Best to do it all around the room it increases the energy and the effectiveness of it

Protip:
Always offer libations, demonic wish granting is thirsty work!
>>
>>18829487
Well, that's the way I go about it, but I know some people do one-direction only, something to do with having a special temple and tools specifically for the evocation, I think?
>>
>>18829452
Well, there's a difference between making a sacrifice and 'partnering.' I'm not saying one of us is wrong and one is right, because that's not the case, but it seems a bit extreme.
>>
>>18829511
Yes and it certainly doesn't impede the work. I just tend to be more traditional.
>>
>>18829518
I respect you anon of course.

My experience with sacrifices is they tend to start pushing the boundaries as time goes on. I won't do certain things no matter the promised rewards...
>>
>>18829537
Well, I mean that's the thing. You can't allow even the slightest boundary to be pushed, that ends poorly typically
>>
>>18829578
Agreed. They respect people who have their shit together

To anyone who joins the discord server; I know things look messy right now, but the server is still being worked on. Should be finished by Monday 10PM EST.
>>
>>18829636
What is discordian?

The name turns me off so I have been ignoring it...
>>
>>18829678
Discordian is basically chaos magic is it not? Discord is also a app like skype but better
>>
>>18829395
I had someone claiming to be Valefor talk to me for a while.
>>
>>18829847
Were you able to confirm or refute if it was?

Details of conversation please?
>>
>>18829854
It was a while back, last summer for me. We just discussed life, and she(?) went on to explain the existence of angels and demons, their life spans, how there are a few different world, etc. They could easily just have been bullshitting me, though. That's all I really remember.
>>
>>18829893
Well did you summon Valefor specifically?

What made the Spirit eventually leave?

Did the information seem credible?
>>
>>18829678
A discordian is someone who worships chaos or believe that chaos is the fundamental good of the universe.
>>
>>18829911
Thanks. So it's a real system?
>>
>>18829909
No, it wasn't a specific summon. They talked with me over the course of a couple weeks, with a few days break between each, before they just left for good. It seemed legitimate enough, but as a novice I suppose I couldn't say for certain.

I now recall they mentioned something about how to do a full summon. Something about a demon paper? Never heard jack shit about a demon paper.
>>
>>18829930
A lot of red flags honestly anon.
They? Valefor is one spirit. If you didn't summon them what was the circumstances of the appearance?

Did they mean draw a sigil on the paper?
>>
Can you all share which demons you've worked with, what you've requested/offered in return, and what the outcome of your invocation was?
>>
>>18829964
Ah, I meant they (singular). It was probably bs. Oh well.
>>
Can I benefit myself from demons and still go to heaven?
>>
Has anyone else communed with Andromalius?
I respect his sphere of power and influence, and as far as leading me back to my stolen 'property'?
A+++.
He don't fuck around.

I see a bunch of you guys throwing around demon and such but I've seen from other sources that many of the "demons" are simply old gods that have lost power and/or followers(the /sum/ pastebin in the /omg/ thread is where I first saw something along the lines of this I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.) Is it simply a matter of preference or something else? I ask simply for the fact that I don't believe in Christianity as a whole yet I've heard many accounts of summonings of "demons".

PS the /omg/ pastebin is more detailed then the one OP provided if anyone wants to take a look

So I've contemplated summoning stolas for the past six months or so. I have the black mirror, candle, hardcopies of the key of Solomon by Mather's and goetia by Crowley. What I want to know is how exactly he can help me. I understand that he teaches knowledge of poisonous herbs, gems, and I think astronomy. Im mainly interested in the herbs part. What should I offer him? What kind of things will he teach me that a book won't? Just obscure info? Very curious.
>>
>>18835920

Right, that is a problem we avoid. We know that the Goetia Grimoire practice was corrupt from the start, and while the "Goetia Demons" are no longer bound to serve, there are reptilian infiltrators that will gladly come to be your master while making you think you are master of them.
>>
>>18836868

>>
>>18836872
It can be observed within the reports of people who have negative encounters. Predation, terrorism, domination, abuse, rape, etc. are behaviors of the Reptilian kind. The collective entities that behaved in this way, at least in western culture, were depicted as reptilian. Though do not confuse those with Demons, which were just Pagan Gods.

Years ago I was very interested in Andras. Not for his appearance or what he supposedly does, I was just drawn to him. Other demons just seemed uninteresting, bland and boring even though there are technically more interesting ones, like that jew that rides the crocodile.

That interest has waned over the years, but back in the day he was the one that stuck out, quite a lot. Why is this?

Not the same guy but now I'm curious about something.

Why work with demons? Why not angels?

Btw i read somewhere that demon came from a word meaning to demonstrate. Any truth behind this?

No, that's where Demo came from.
Daimon is Greek. Daimons were intermediary spirits.
Essentially, they are like Gods that worked directly and personally with Humans.

>>18837433
because monotheism is bogus

>>18837576
Satanic Demons do not ask for ridiculous offerings. You will never have to self harm/mutilate, provide trinkets or food or drink, harm any animals, etc. etc.
Generally what you should do for them in return is assist them in the Spiritual Warfare either by fighting with them or raising energy for them to use, self developing and gaining more knowledge, or redpilling people you know and getting them to do the above.

My first evokation was Gremory, and I found her to be true to me in all ways and at all times.

No 9 foot circles and triangles, no threats, no burning sigils, no blood, no invokation of bogus, bloodthirsty yaweh.
Just my altar, invocation to Satan, trance, offering, and blessing prayers of thanks.
>>
>>18837808
Did Gremory speak about why she fell?
>>
>>18837774
I'm not sure. I already have the crystals down. I also have a small obsidian mirror with his sigil underneath. I use a cat skull I found to annoit various tinctures. I just want to know more about herbs and such. Just searching for new routes of inquiry.
>>
>>18837870
Sounds like you basically have it down.

The obsidian mirror is good. The herbs just need to have a pleasing aroma.

I started reading the Illustrated Goetia and I still find no difference between the spirits and thoughtforms beyond the 'belief' that they are something exterior. They do tasks as chaos sigils or servitors do, require strong will, imply mostly mental aspects affecting the matter, etc... the process seems.also the same (set what you want, a time date, enter gnosis, etc).

What makes them an "outside" entity and not something in your own mind that takes the form it takes because the grimoire convinces yourself they are like this? In the same way that the ceremony can be a "placebo", the grimoire narrative could be the same.

Not trying to start a flame war, genuinely curious.

Also any vajrayana here? Do the tantric deities work in a similar way? I remember reading that the lamas always caution the practicant to not fear the deities as they are a projection of the mind. Or is this another concept?
>>
>>18839908

>>18830030
Yeah if they were talking about lifespans of angels and demons, unless it was in some incomprehensible unit of measurement, it was probably some bs. That doesn't mean it wasn't Valefor, but I can't say for certain because I've never worked with that particular entity.
>>
>>18838566
No not yet. Is that what you would advise? If so why? 4 directions type of thing or is a lighting situation. I thought the idea was to have a low light for mirror summoning. I have an herb collection so I'll get some stuff going.
>checked
>>
>>18840064
Not that anon, but check the tables in 777 for any herbs, incense/perfume, colors, and whatnot that will be relevant to the particular entity you plan to evoke. The herbs having a pleasant aroma isn't always the case. Some entities will have correspondences with foul odors... like wormwood. Some require sulphur as incense. That's not to say you won't have success if you don't follow them, but it certainly helps your chances more than not.
>>
>>18840073
Ok cool. I have a copy of 777( Crowley's right) that I picked up on clearance but haven't really delved in. I was stuck on other stuff and its been on my shelf. Also sulfur as incense? That sounds terrible haha definitely and outside practice.

Also reading online some people say that the circle+riangle are unnecessary and just piss off the demon.
Is that right or are they trying to bait people into exposing themselves?
>>

I was just kidding but thanks cat
>>
>>18831926
No, just don't.
>>
>>18842596
It depends on your personal relationship with the occult.
I personally would never use the triangle because my "lineage" (non-catholic) doesn't believe in the church, church-derived occult methods, or that demons are bad. So the triangle would be useless to begin with.

But if you're a god-fearing man, then by all means, protect yourself. It's not like the demons aren't used to seeing people clutching a crucifix and pissing themselves.
>>
>>18842758
The triangle doesn't have anything to do with belief. It doesn't matter what you believe or whether the entity is harmful (most goetics aren't evil but they do like to fuck around with people). Just like deciding you're not going to wear camouflage on a turkey hunt because you don't believe they can see color doesn't mean they aren't going to see you. It's a very inexperienced and limited world view that believes personal belief is going to change the nature of an external entity from person to person.
>>
>>18842770
Also, anybody clutching a crucifix and pissing themselves would be fucked if they were performing an evocation. This isn't roleplay, things don't work a certain way just because you want to change the rules.

Basically new fag here.
I have a pretty could knowledge of occultism in theory, but have never actually tried to summon. My life is kind of in a rut right now and would like some assistance.Primarily looking for some purpose or direction in life, I have no idea what to do with myself. Also some financial help would be greatly appreciated, where do I even start? Who do I evoke? Would any demons care to even help?
>>
>>18842770
>It's a very inexperienced and limited world view
You don't know me bre, just chill a bit.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0c/Circletriangle.gif
>MI CHA EL in triangle

This setup was originally developed so that the summoner would feel "safe", as in, protected by angels/sacred geometry while summoning demonic beings.
Occultism in old times was a form of using entities to do your bidding, not for spiritual enlightment or any noble reason. Being god-fearing people, these occultists used holy names, angels and etc because they regarded demons as being "bad", but still wanted to reap in sweet infernal gifts.

>in sum
>I might as well write NA RU TO on the triangle because it is useless to a non-catholic

>>18842776
I didn't imply the conjurer would be that person, I don't believe demons only exist to answer rituals.
What a terrible existence it would be, Hell being a waiting room until you get your next "pls find me a gf" ritual to answer.
>>
>>18842791
Forgive me, english is not my first language and I must have used the wrong term.

What I meant by catholic was "derived from the worship of God/Jesus Christ and opposing Lucifer/Satan".

Because people here think the summoning setup was developed by a neutral mage or some shit, when in fact it was developed by a God-fearing, Hell-fearing, believer.
>>
>>18842831
Uhh I wasn't referring to the names in the circle, I was referring to the circle itself. What are you, JoS or something? Also
>using wikipedia like it's a valid source
>>
>>18842888
I never said anything about using -a- circle, I talked about using -the- circle and triangle setup that we all know (the one in the pic). Specifically the triangle part because if you cared enough to read, it's basically a cage. The demon is supposed to be compelled/trapped inside the triangle so you're protected from it during the ritual. That's pretty fucking useless unless you actually believe in the names written in the triangle, and pretty offensive in my personal opinion. The triangle itself represents the most stable structure and the holy triad in sacred geometry (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).

And I used the image from wikipedia because the url was shorter, you can go ahead and reverse image search that image.

I have a slight philosophical conundrum.

I have worked with the Goetics and generally have gotten good results from them. I wouldn't say I'm in love with them or that we're heterosexual life partners and shit, but I like the one I've met and sympathize with them.

At the same time I do perform the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram, and it works well and provides results too. However it does use Judeo-Christian symbols and names. I do not like the judeo-christian god in general and the one experience I have with one of the four archangels invoked in the LBRP left a bad impression on me (he was condescending).

Is it philosophically fine for me to be somewhat on the side of the demons and yet still use the LBRP which draws on the power of the "other" side? Is there more neutral alternatives to the LBRP that doesn't related to a specific god?

Up until this point I've just used the LBRP anyway since results are results, and I got no problem with continuing to do so. But this just something I'm curious about.
>>
>>18842991
Wow that ego must really be getting you places.
>>
>>18843060
Well, the god names. while judeo-christian in origin, are magical formulae, but if you want more info there's a great back-and-forth going on over in /omg/ thread right now, and you will be able to get a series of diverse opinions from initiates and active practitioners, if you are interested.

>>

Good enough for me, will read more on it when time is available. I bumped into this concept years ago and I guess I just forgot about it. The few times I hung out in /omg the thread devolved in a way that reminded me of neckbeards from /tg nitpicking over obscure rules and numbers of their favorite gaming system, or something. Guess I'll still check it out once in a while.

Lemegeton and Goetia are, at the end of the day, derived from the Greek practices of Goes as per the Greek Magickal Papyrus.

What started as protocol for ancestor worship started sponging up half forgotten/foreign pagan entities.

Shortly before the Lemegeton manuscripts the practice went 'native' again via Cyprian and Grimorium Verum, but they really kinda forked off into separate roads, where Cyprian and Verum contributed to folk religion and cunning craft (various african syncretisms for example), and Lemegeton/Heptameron/et al. contributed to the "high" ritual magick systems.

Is the easiest way to interact with and bring forth these entities into your perception still to put yourself into a meditative and lucid dreamstate?
>>
Using the method to abuse sleep paralysis and stretching out your perception while working on developing your Body of Light, isn't it pretty simple to seek out and strike up communication? Sure these spirits don't come as some construct from within and so you can't control or guide them in any fashion, but contracts can be struck up in very direct fashion as well you can offer energy or overcome challenges as a test if they so wish it. The telepathic communication can be pretty clear-cut especially if you request the clarity. On the downside you could pull back to your body feeling like shit if 'injured' or feel actual pain if the dreamstate is made lucid enough, but it's not an irrevocable disaster if you fuck up.
Anybody care to give descriptions of what the entities chose to look like when encountered?

Do calling of the arch angels and the Bornless One ceremony

When finished do the Banishing ritual

It means to say Venus, right? Or is there something I don't understand?

You're probably going to want to banish first, then do Bornless, then GRH keyed to the planet in question. Bornless is *kind of* optional.

I'm still having trouble understanding when a planet is at the rise or apex. How can I find that? Sorry for all the questions, but I want to do my first evocation and I want to be sure everything is done correctly even if I don't follow everything by the letter.
