Neumayer-Station III, also known as Neumayer III after geophysicist Georg von Neumayer, is a German Antarctic research station of the Alfred-Wegener-Institut. It is located on the approximately 200 metres (660 ft) thick Ekstrom Ice Shelf several kilometres south of Neumayer-Station II.[1] The station's assembly kit was transported to its current position early in November 2007. It is moving with the shelf ice at about 200 meters per year towards the open sea

If you know anything about the arctic circles sun cycle then you would also know that it occurs at the south pole as well, except opposite months.

The current conspiracy theory being pushed:

Of course that's not enough, so you also need Nazis, UFOs, underground ice caves with dome cities, aliens, reptilian humanoids, nibiru, secret government cover ups, the REAL space program, flat earth.

You can get away with saying crazy shit because who is going to go to Antarctica and prove you wrong?


A lot of this stuff is just copy and pasted from the Stargate tv show, which in it's later seasons had an Antarctica arc, with a chair you could sit in and control some super weapons to defend Earth, if you had the right genetic bloodline.

The spinoff show Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe both explored this idea further, with inter-galactic stargates, spaceships refueled by flying through a star, and following the breadcrumbs left behind by a very old civilization that is no longer around.

Since modern conspiracy theorists are lazy, they cant even come up with cool ideas, so they just rip off a sci-fi tv show from a decade ago and hope nobody notices.
