They just happen, completely randomly when im not focusing on anything, or when im trying to sleep. How can I hone this?

I get the same thing I think.

Mine usually happen while I'm awake though, not necessarily doing anything, but like while I'm "daydreaming". In my daydream or whatever you call it, I'll envision something happening, both auditory and visual stimuli. Then months or weeks will go by and then it happens. Kind of like reverse Deja Vu is the best way for me to explain it.

Those that do experience these visions would you say you have a positive or negative intuition? Is it more one than the other or both?

The way I see it as I leave it as it is, I am fine tuned enough to try and bring more into my life so I couldn't answer that. I don't see it as much as a gift as others do

You may have a dream or lapse, but you will forget eventually until it actually happens, with a board like this you can post a premonition once in a while and wait for it to happen, then you dig up your own thread to gloat.

Ah got you, running slow tonight. I've discussed this a few times, it seems to come up a lot. It would be good if we could keep one going to see how many people can actually do this and provide factual evidence because it seems quite common but the board usually dies quite quick.

I believe you, but you're not "Psychic".

All humans think in terms of "Models". We're constantly measuring, modelling and calculating everything, and updating our current "World-View".

We also constantly think ahead, and imagine scenarios which could "possibly happen":

>It's possible I could get hit by a car tomorrow.
>It's possible that a Plane could crash into buildings tomorrow
>it's possible I'll meet a 3.14 qt and get sex tomorrow
>.......

Inevitably, once in a while, you'll get it right.

Everyone does this. Some people just "think ahead" better than others. That's why some people get hit by cars and you don't.
