I know this one place in Richmond Indiana, called Old Reid Hospital (You can find some pics online.)

It's big, and fun to explore. Been there dozens of times. I have some pics if anyone's interested.

Unfortunately UER is basically the only database out there. I'm in New England so don't have any ideas about places in Arizona but check the database and also just ask around with people in your area who are cool. Obviously don't advertise it too much, but you'd be surprised how many people are curious about abandoned places. Hope you find some cool spots and if you do post pics. Here's a recent spot I went to for inspiration.

don't know about arizona but i recently just got into urbex photography. best advice i can give is follow urban people on instagram from you're area.. i've been to so many meet ups and fond so many cool places hidden in plain sight by meeting and networking with people on IG

be careful of light pollution in heavily populated areas. best places to go for that sort of thing is old junkyards

What part of Arizona are you in? I'm also in Arizona and want to get to Sedona and see the vortexes. I live close to superstition Moutain and have hiked it a lot and haven't seen much spooks except for a weird looking thing fly over. (possible UFO) Hope OP is still here
