There was some old book of scary, supposedly true stories I got from the library as a kid that scared me shitless. It only had a small drawing at the beginning of each chapter and those weren't creepy at all. But the actual stories terrified me as a kid.

There's one in particular I want to reread, about a haunted house on a cliffside. I think it said the owners would find warm spots in their beds, couldn't keep pets, and somebody died due to the haunting. It made me really paranoid when I went to bed. I think there were a couple stories dedicated to cursed vehicles too.

When I was really young, some of earliest memories, I would have the same reoccurring nightmare. There was a figure that would appear. Same figure every time. My parents would always be in the next room. I would scream at the top of lungs but no sound would come out. Then I would panic. The thing would spread its arms out wide and I would wake up. Thing is, years later I realized the thing looked like Death. I can still remember intricate details about it. The faded color of the cloak, the indescribable empty void where the face should have been, the tattered edges of the cloth. It creeps me out more now than then because I don't know what or where I would have seen an image like that at such a young age (3-4). Really wish I knew what those dreams meant.

I watched the movie Amadeus with my parents when I was really young, 5 or 6 not really getting the concept of the movie but I enjoyed the music.
Mozart dies and his casket is brought to the cemetary but back in the olden days it was like a mass grave.

For the longest time I thought these images, these strange memories were from some twisted dreams I had as a young child. Any time I'd try to see if people remembered or knew about the "movies" they were from, no one had any idea.

I must have, as a child, caught portions of this movie on TV or something as my parents were watching it. Holy shit, I don't even think I can bring myself to watch the movie now.

For fucking fuck's sake, the '90s was pretty fucked up in terms of practical effects and claymation and shit.
