Lets get a mandatory read list started to add to my library. The book in the image was my first read pertaining to the paranormal. I learned of it through Maynard James Keenan and Danny Carey of my favorite band Tool. The book speaks of Greys, The 5th Dimension, and plenty of other interesting topics. Anyone read this?

I read this a decade ago. It's fiction, and bullshit, but a great read nevertheless.

It's about 2 sailors that find a cave which leads to Hollow Earth, basically. It's written like a memoir.

It's the basis of the Hollow Earth theory. People thought it was a true account.

That's if you want to take the RAW pill.

When I was in elementary school the library had a book about aliens and was one of the first things to get me interested in the paranormal. I've tried looking for it online but I can't find a single thing about it, maybe you guys will know.
>Had a picture of the stars on its cover, black with white stars
>talked about various races of aliens and how they act in sightings
>first two pages were a drawing of Roswell and a hoax report to go along with it
>described various UFOs with illustrations, notably the cigar shaped one
>had a form in it for reporting UFOs
>talked about various presidents stance on declassification
Does anyone know this book?

*shrug* it's one of my favorite SF books and I've read a lot of SF.

In general, the recommendations on the SF Masterworks list are fantastic https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SF_Masterworks

Stand on Zanzibar is on there. As are 16 Philip K Dick books.

-Forever War is great
-The Stars my Destination is a 3/5
-Babel 17, Nova, and Dhalgren - anything Samuel Delany touches is a gem. treasure it.
-Lord of Light is amazing (previously mentioned)
-Earth Abides - ok but i think it might not have aged so well as apocalyptic fiction is sort of played out IMO
-Fifth Head of Cerberus - so fucking good. Gene Wolfe is on par with Samuel Delany. both are masterful writers and it's a blessing that they chose to write SF when they could have great literary careers not doing genre fiction. Also on the list, his Book of The New Sun series is really good too
-Gateway - ok
-Star Maker and Last and First Men - pretty cool, /x/ tier definitely
-The Drowned World - ok
-Childhood's End, Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Dune, and Ringworld - just ok (i'm sure someone will crucify me for this
-Man Plus - fucked up book; /x/ tier
-Inverted World - another good /x/ tier book
-The Book of Skulls - /x/ tier
-Emphyrio - pretty cool

I've read a bunch of others but I'm sure you guys are tired of reading all this, assuming you haven't ignored it entirely :)
>>
>>18802344
I should add, don't read the Wikipedia page on Inverted World or Emphyrio. I think it might spoil the book but who knows.

If you're more into short stories, get JG Ballard's Complete Works. Over 1,000 pages of New Wave SF gold.

>>King James Version
>9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

>>The Message
>9-17 Our Father in heaven, Reveal who you are. Set the world right; Do what’s best— as above, so below. Keep us alive with three square meals. Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others. Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. You’re in charge! You can do anything you want! You’re ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes.

As you know Danny Carey is an avid occultist and Maynard is very much into the paranormal and conspiracy, especially involving religion. I came across this book posted in the blog on their website years agp, ended up ordering it. Maynard said he liked it because of the coverage of the 5th dimension in the book. He firmly believed it. I honestly don't know if a pdf, I just ordered a cheap paperback in like 2002

im not trying to be an edgy fedora, but the bible was a very clunky and boring read for most of it. There are a few good stories in the old testament, and the new is very dry. God doesnt even wrestle anymore.
Ive read a student (king james?) version, and a pocket version of the new testament I got during boot camp. If its not a huge fucking wall falling on an army or something badass, its probably about incest or sheep blood or just plain boring.

That Jew's material on propaganda is primarily propaganda itself, designed to deceive you.
This book, also by a Jew, is a higher quality work, since the author based it upon his personal experience of being captured and fucked with by Germans in WW2.

I decided to give you more than books so I've been digging up my infographics folder, maybe even include the X stories folder.

Question. Would you like if it contains magazines and graphic novels, but the torrent will be way over 100GB? Or we just leave that for another time?
>>
>>18828585
Are you doing it all as 1 zip or separate folders? If the former, leave them for separate downloads, if the latter, bunch them in please.
>>
>>18828593
Separate folders of course, is the new library of Alexandria.
>>
>>18828585
maybe split that into a different torrent?

not sure how much bandwidth you have but even at a healthy 10 MB/s clip it will take a long time to seed at 100 GB.

i'll be able to keep the torrent active on my seedbox for a while though.
>>
>>18828600
You say of course but it is sad how many people bundle these massive librarys into just 1 large zip

this seems like a weird list. hegel next to stuff about the mothman and ufos. it's not totally clear to me what the brown pill is supposed to be. this makes it seem like it's being a philosophy major.

incidentally i came across this great video lecture series where a professor reads, explains, and criticizes hegel's phenomenology of being a half hour at a time over the course of several years https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4gvlOxpKKIgR4OyOt31isknkVH2Kweq2
