Well I always associate vaporwave with the 90s and I associate the 90s with X-Files, Coast to Coast, usenet and web1.0 paranormal stuff where it felt like anything may be possible now that the world was connected through communication. It's because vaporwave gives off a very uncanny sort of feeling, as well as occasionally having sinister messages behind it. By that I mean actual vaporwave, not the meme kind that involves slowing songs down without any purpose or mystery behind it. Here's an essentials chart I made. What do you think /x/? Do you guys like quality vapowave?
not paranormal. fuck off.
