i'm not a freemason, but just do like their bumperstickers: 2B1ASK1.

visit a grand lodge website and find the nearest masonic lodge to you, shoot them an email displaying your interest or visit in person. they will probably invite you to a public function of some sort.

You seem to have a lot of misconceptions. At the end of the day you can only know yourself and freemasonry is just one of many paths to obtain that self knowledge. Nothing more nothing less.

I.e it largely depends on you and what you do. Go listen to some manly p hall lectures on YouTube or read some gurdjieff.

I don't know much about freemasonry, but I've got a pic of a former lodge in BC. It's a public display in fort Steele, so I doubt it's very accurately portrays what they're actually like, but I thought some people might find it interesting.
>>
Simply go to a lodge and talk to someone. Any man can join, but initiation takes a while and all the secrets aren't just plopped in your Lap. Anything printed by the Masonic lodge can be read by anyone, but not all will understand. All the secrets are already released to public knowledge, but you won't honestly know what they are or what they mean unless you join. My father is a mason, my mother is an eastern star. Lots of symbolism you learn as you go.

OP here, sounds like you have what I'm after. I don't expect any secrets plopped in my lap, because I already have the secrets. As you've said, they are all publicly available. I do know what to look for. I love your encyclopedia by the way, extremely well written.
>>
>>18785068
I've neglected freemasonry every time that I've been asked to be one. Most of my family is freemasons and most of everyone in my town that is successful is freemasons. Aliens and NWO will use you like a pawn. Most likely they will "take turns" with you as well. And lastly, you can't just join because you want to, there has to be a face to face dialog between you and a respectable freemason. This means they must be greater than a 3rd degree master mason.

Lastly, you are going to be ridiculed by those at the higher powers. I'd rather work at a mcdonalds for the rest of my life than be a freemason. But you can do what you want to.
>>
>>18785229
You mix lies with truth, but when the freemasons speak, they speak all truth.

The freemason who tried to get me into freemasonry was both a christian and a buddhist at the same time (completely different religions), not only that but he tried college and failed miserably, and now he gets to sit on the fat lamb for doing nothing. He literally receives tons of free money because he is a freemason. They say they are like god, but god gives knowledge freely and does not conceal it like the freemasons. I will see you all on that great day of judgement where you will see the real truth!

From what I understand of freemasonry, this all checks out. You can seize the secrets for yourself too, you know. They are all quite literally hidden in plain sight.
>>
>>18785251
in what text does God give knowledge freely? It is Lucifer who gave knowledge freely, not God. Unless I have Genesis mixed up somehow?
>>
>>18785263
Why conceal secrets? Feemasonry is literally the antithesis of what god/jesus/truth literally is! Jesus didn't worship pagans and he for sure didn't conceal the truth. All people were his people, and he did not hold back what he gave.
>>
>>18785275
Secrets are much better, if you find them out for yourself. Otherwise it will just look like a cheap trick.

Secrets haven't lead to any destructive behavior or wars or famines or diseases over the years. Sure, the cure to cancer could be a secret, but hey, cancer is just a cheap trick, right? That thing that is probably going to kill each and every one of us on this board is just a cheap trick, but not only that, but its cure is just a cheap trick as well?

Cancer: the problem
The cure: Cheap trick if not concealed, cheap trick if revealed.

Let's go back a couple of posts to >>18785283
>Secrets are much better, if you find them out for yourself. Otherwise it will just look like a cheap trick.

So I have cancer, I can't see it, and my only knowledge is that a doctor had told me I have cancer.
Welp, time to find a cure for myself because the real knowledge of curing cancer is behind closed doors.
Welp, if I don't find out how to cure myself, I will die.
Welp, since I don't know how to cure myself and I will die, it feels good to know that my cancer could've been cured on the spot but its not because i'd just think that it was just a cheap trick all along. I would rather be buried before knowing that it was all just a joke.

I was dead too, before realizing the truth. I'd much rather die of cancer than die ignorant of the Truth.

For most people, the opposite is true.

I'll take this truth to the grave just like all freemasons do. It can never be uttered. Only shown through symbols.

Yea, why's that?

>>18785275
>Why conceal secrets?
Quality control. The secrets aren't anything you can't find elsewhere, but they function like a university degree from a time when people were unlettered.

>>18785923
Generally takes about three to four months for a new member to be introduced. Lodge meetings aren't very frequent. If you weren't patient, then you aren't suitable to be a member.
>>
Alright dinks, it's like this:

Masonry is not at all what it used to be. They are struggling with serious retention issues. People join, but get bored quickly.

The 'secrets' are basically all versions of the same concept, that symbolism is powerful.

If you get in, you gave to be patient and deal with a lot of play-acting and stuff that you will think is kind of dumb.

- of course, with all, that being said, if you are in a large town or small city, it can be hugely beneficial to be a mason.

That said I'd say its the same reason a teacher keeps the test answer book secret from the class. We are all living life for a reason and the knowledge we acquire can enable transcendent choices. Many fear too much choice so the knowledge is spared from the naive so that they may live a satisfying life and not be burdened by too much information.

The only freedom comes from being awake. They use new media to mind control people just as they did with old media. The internet is full of disinformation and very easy to manipulate people with, especially anonymously where you don't know what the source is but trust it regardless.
>>18789692
The ones in the know (powers that be) are building a new world for themselves. They've admitted themselves that their end goal is significant population reduction. They want to eliminate the large portion of the population that is still asleep. Does this in any way sound like they have our best interests in mind? They have their own best interests in mind, that is all.

>>
>>18791569
It depends on the jurisdiction. I'm a Mason in England, and a candidate needs a proposer and a seconder to join here.
>>
>>18791259
It depends what is meant by "high level". It is true that, at least through the lens of the Craft, nothing is higher than 3°, but there are other systems of degrees which have attached themselves onto regular Masonry (ecossais degrees, chivalric degrees, Rosicrucian degrees, etc.) which do have degrees and appendant orders considered as "higher". But again, it all depends on how you define "higher".
>>
>>18785068

Just look up your local lodge, email them and they'll likely invite you to one of their events, you usually need 2 members to recommend you before you'll be able to join (this will take a few months).
