This region really caught my attention when I was chilling and listening some Mongolian throat singing.

Early in the 1990's a Russian archaeologist uncovered a series of burial grottoes and one of the grottoes (on the Ukok plane) had the mummified remains of the "Ukok princess" or later nicknamed "Ice queen".
They removed her and took her remains to moscow and a series of unfortunate events took place. Some say due to a curse.
They found weed and other herbs. Ornaments for the horses and many other valuable objects.
I want to talk more about the history, heritage, shamanic traditions of these people.

I read she is submerged in a liquid that preserves her body in a stasis. They tried draining the liquid and she would immediately start rapid decomposition. So they put the liquid back.
